SunTime Havana Single Charcoal Glider Seat Charcoal

This is a really lovely chair and great value and looks great next to the matching double seat glider. However, be warned apparently it is a real struggle to put together. Mine was put together by a professional kitchen and bathroom fitter and he said the instructions were pretty useless and a lot of time and patients was needs and his best advise was to put all the fittings into separate piles of the various sorts and read and re-read the instructions and then use a lot of common sense and take your time. For me has I only have to look at and sit on the chair I think it is a lovely item and a great bargain for the price and family and friends can't believe how cheap it was because it looks a lot more expensive. Whilst I haven't seen the chair anywhere I have seen the double seat version albeit slightly different and not as nice but for a much higher price. So if you have the patients to put together or better still like me get someone to put it together for you, I can highly recommend it. Really comfortable to sit on and the glide action is lovely and smooth and is a silent motion.

This item arrived promptly and well packaged. It was easier to put together than I had thought it would be from the reviews I had read, although it did take two of us two hours to put together. The instructions are not good and I would like to say a big 'thank you' to the person who advised not to take the screws etc out of the packaging until you need them. The seat is excellent quality and was purchased at a really good price. The delivery info I rec'd from Crowders (the sellers) was very good and accurate. I would definitely recommend this seat to friends. Very comfy and relaxing.

I really am very pleased with this. The thing with garden seating is that it often looks nice but at the same time can be bloomin' uncomfortable. I don't have a lot of 'natural' padding so look out for garden furniture that wont give me a 'numb behind'. This fits the bill. The high back is very supportive of neck and head if you need it and there is a little give in the mesh that makes it much more comfortable than rigid wood or plastic.I love the way you can rock the slider back and forth, very relaxing whilst sipping a cuppa or other tonic of your choice. During this lovely warm spell I can sit and watch the chickens, sunning myself in comfort, imagining I am on holiday in sunny climes.The only thing I would say is check the width of the slider in relation to those who are going to use it, depending on relative size, two adults side to side may find it a bit cosy.It was very reasonably priced (although I see it has gone up a bit now, probably due to the nice weather we are finally having) My husband put it together, I think it was a bit fiddly from the muttering and grumbling that could be overheard whilst construction was underway.Overall, very pleased with my purchase, and I'd certainly consider purchasing other garden seating in this range.

Seems well made and is comfortable, assembly a bit fiddly as the instructions aren't great. I assembled it on my own assisted by some blocks of wood but 2 people would be better. Tips: assembly stage 5 is not an instruction on its own it is part of stage 6 and is to put the spacers (H) between the armrest holes and the seat holes the sequence being, push bolt X through the armrest hole then through the spacer then through the hole under the seat then a washer and nut and a nut cover. Make sure you put the armrest on the right way, I can only explain this is to put the hollow side facing outwards. And, leave the nuts bolts etc in the pack until you need them. Good luck, it's a very nice, relaxing seat.

With this year's summer it has been well used. Very comfortable and much easier to get on and off as compared to the swing seats. For the price I paid I'm very pleased.There is a just though! It takes two people to assemble it and it needs patience. Do not attempt to assemble it in a hurry. When you unpack the Seat Glider, it will make assembly easier if you put the screws/small pieces into there own individual separate containers. That way when following the assembly instructions you can find the required piece without much trouble. I strongly recommend that you do this.

This glider style seat is so much better than the traditional "A" frame swing seat it was purchased to replace. It is so much easier to move and store, the main reason our old swing seat needed replacing was because we were never able to cover or store it adequately over winter, this glider seat is easily moved around the garden whenever we want and is so easy to just lift it into the shed in winter.It takes up a lot less room on the patio than the old swing yet the seating area is bigger. It is much easier to get on and off than the swing was and the high back makes it very comfortable. It has a nice gentle rocking motion which is so relaxing.It took about an hour and a half for two of us to put together, but it wasn't difficult we just took our time. It's well manufactured and once built it feels very solid and safe. I like that they also provide little plastic covers in the same colour as the frame to go over the screw heads. Well worth the money.

These are really comfortable slider chairs, we bought two, one was perfect but the second had a poorly finished powder coating. Luckily the worst of this was on the lower frame so was not immediately visible so we decided to keep rather than go through the hassle of return & re-order.The instructions are not as clear as the could be, we are experienced DIY types yet we still had to read and re-read to get it right.
