I bought one of these in gray at a retail store and then ordered this one to compare the colors. Side by side, the quality of this one is really lacking. The leather itself is less substantial, the bag doesn't hold its shape, the tassels hanging from the zipper are cheaper and rough leather, the lining doesn't seem as luxe, and there is no logo tag on the outside. (It's not that I care about having a logo on my bags, but why wouldn't there be one on the exact same product?) The proportions are slightly different, in terms of where certain details are placed, and the metal rivets near the handles are larger.Plus it has a scratch on the leather.All that would be plenty for me to return it, but add to that the inaccuracy of the color (it looks cognac on Amazon and in person it's a lackluster pinky-brown) and it's a zero.

This bag is wonderful, very large and roomy. The color is great for summer. The construction of the bag is superior, my only criticism, the shoulder strap is a bit shorter than I like, it isn't adjustable, but not a major concern.
