Great product.
I purchased this as a DIY’er for home projects. I needed to replace something on my roof, which is extremely steep and almost 3 stories high at its apex. I have experience over the past 20 years wearing this type of fall protection gear periodically, so donning this equipment was easy and comfortable for me. Although I didn’t test it by jumping off the roof, it felt sturdy and safe as I used it moving around on the roof. It appears to be well made and of good material. Everything appeared as it should. I feel confident that if I were to take a fall, this item would do its intended job. Even tho I have used these types of items over the years, I am by no means an expert. But I am satisfied. For me, it works well.

tool bags fit fine on the waist belt
great ansi/osha approved harness. i am able to fit a carpenter's tool bag on each side as well as hammer holster. gets a bit hot behind the waist belt and shoulder padding in this heat wave we're having, but I didn't really expect it NOT to get hot.I'm 5'-11", 230lbs (a bit fat around the middle) and the xl-xxl size fits fine in my summer t-shirt and jeans, with plenty of adjustment room left over for my winter bibs and coat.d-ring in the back is a bit high and I have to clip in from over the shoulder rather than from around the back like my old harness...that might be hard to do while dressed for winter, but i'm sure i'll get it done.all in all a great harness. much better than my old setup with tool belt over un-padded, el-cheapo harness.

Awesome Harness for Any Industry, Roofing, Fork Lift, Cherry Picker
This harness for the money is top quality. It has lower back and side padding. The leg has standard strapping with eyelet buckles. For the $80 amazon prime this harness costs - it the best you will find. Something like this would cost upwards of $150-200 at your supply house or Big Box Industrial Supplier. Its very comfortable. This is my second harness, I added another employee, but I've used this harness for over a year and it still looks new. We go up on lifts, on forklifts and buckets installing outdoor and indoor lighting and solar panels. There are three harness points, one on your back and one on each side as pictured, plus it also has smaller tether points where you can hook up your tools and other accessories so you don't drop them. Its fully adjustable in all directions and is very comfortable to wear all day!

Different versions of same Item Number
Regardless of my comments below, I am satisfied with this product and have added extras to resolve my issues. I am 5' 8" tall and about 210 lbs so this does fit me OK. I have a belly and have to suck in my belly slightly to get the waist belt tight enough so the extra fits through the belt loop past the buckle. This product may vary from actual photos on Amazon. After reviewing this product number on various websites, I see there are different versions of this same item number (11173). Some sites show this item with an additional 2 shoulder D-Rings as seen in the back side photo here on Amazon, and some sites show these without the additional 2 shoulder D-Rings. This listing does not state there are 2 shoulder D-Rings as shown in the Amazon photo. Without the 2 shoulder D-Rings the product labels are sewn on the front upper left above the chest strap intersection where the Shoulder D-Rings needed to be. The ones with the shoulder D-Rings have the product labels are sewn on the back upper left in the same location. So please be aware of the difference when purchasing. Listing is correct, but photos are for a different version of same product number. No one has been able to explain if the shoulder D-Rings were added later, or dropped later, since both versions have the same Item Number as seen on the other websites that do list the Shoulder D-Rings as one of its features. If someone can explain the difference and why, I would love to hear it as the seller did not answer my inquiry about the difference.Another difference is the smaller D-Rings for parking your Lanyard when not in use. The better version with the Shoulder D-Rings has separate Metal Triangle Rings sewn between 2 layers of webbing for parking your unused Lanyard ends when not in use, however, the version without the shoulder D-rings that I received appears to have plastic D-Rings that do not go between 2 layers of webbing but perimeter around the sewn intersection of the vertical shoulder strap and the horizontal chest straps. Bottom line is it appears to be more cheaply made than the one in the photos. Here is how I fixed my problem of needing the 2 Shoulder D-Rings. First because the product Tags pack is sewn on the front shoulder where a D-Ring should be, I removed them and moved them sewing them in the back side as shown in the Amazon photos. Next, I purchased 2 slotted non-removable Climbing D-Rings (about $10 each) elsewhere, and also purchased 2 removable Parachute Harness D-Rings ($10 for the pair). I then used the bottom slots of the non-removable Climbing D-Rings to lay the D-Rings flat on each shoulder and from both shoulder straps pulled a webbing loop from the bottom upward through the slot of each with the D-Ring facing forward, then I install the 2 removable Parachute Harness D-Rings vertically on each shoulder putting the removable D-Ring Bolt through the loops that came up through the other D-Rings. The result is 2 D-Rings for vertical suspension and 2 additional steel D-Rings facing forward to park my unused Lanyard Ends when not in use, or for anything else I wish to park there.Later I also added more 2" X webbing for another Chest D-Ring running from the back ring over the shoulders in an X formation over my front, under the waist belt and looping around both the leg belts. That Chest D-Ring was once a Delta Back D-Ring. The ring fits just under the cross Chest Buckle. Bit of over kill but more versatile with all the extra D-rings added. The first attached photo shows my Removable Parachute D-Ring after I installed on Left Shoulder where Product Tags used to be. Other photos are a enlargement of the photos of back and front views showing the version with shoulder D-Rings and tags sewn on back left shoulder strap and the Metal Triangle Lanyard Park Rings. Another photo from Guardian Help page shows those Shoulder D-Rings and the Metal Triangle Lanyard Park Rings. The last photo shows the model I actually received missing the Shoulder D-Rings and having plastic Lanyard Park Rings at the intersection of the Cross Chest Strap with the Shoulder Straps. Most models being sold are not the style shown in this enlarged back photo.

Definitely worth the money for the occasional user.
I wear this infrequently, since I bought it to wear while cleaning snow off of my roof-mounted solar panels. I am 5'7", between 170-185 lbs, 34 waist. I wear Carhartt bibs and jacket under it. Definitely have a lot of room left in the harness even with the Carhartts on. I'm very happy with the quality of the harness, size of the rings, setup of buckles, etc. It was a bit of a challenge to put it on by myself the first time, but it was straightforward after a few wearings. Since I have some issues with my shoulders and back, I have to take a lot of breaks while doing the work, which often means I'm wearing the harness for well over 2 hours, and it's certainly comfortable for that period of time. Definitely believe that I got my money's worth.

I spent 10 hours a day 6 to 7 days a week in this bastard!
One of the top five harness that I have warn. I climbed a ton with this on ,inspecting stuff , tracking systems in the rack from sun up to son down! It’s heavy but I had a python bag on my belt for all my gages, field book , documents... it took heavy abuse and never let me down. Wouldn’t recommend it for welding pipe while in the rack, way too heavy to keep your body steady. It’s more for keeping the stress off your core with the padded belt and shoulders so you can do more climbing without the normal problems that a harness causes in a work day!
