Mini switch
Great switch for the price. Vlan functionality is a welcome package for the size. Fast backplane. Overall great product

I connected six PoE IP cameras and they work with this switch without issues
The cloud-managed PoE switch is plug-n-play. I connected six PoE IP cameras and they work with this switch without issues. Uplink speed is 1000 Mbps but LAN ports are only 100 Mbps - still fast enough for my IP cams. I measured its dimensions to be 7 1/2 inches in length, 1 5/8 inches in height, and 5 1/2 inches in depth. The switch has an all-metal build with side vents for cooling. It includes one grounded power cord. The device has a combined cloud and web management button, which also serves as a reset switch. I see that it has eight PoE ports and two uplink ports for network connectivity. On the bottom of the switch, I found a sticker containing technical specifications. The switch complies with the IEEE 802.3AF/AT standards for PoE functionality. It supports eight 100 Mbps PoE ports and two 1000 Mbps uplink ports. The power input range is AC 100-240V at 50/60Hz, with a maximum current of 2.5A. The power output is DC 52V at 2.3A, with a maximum power delivery of 120W. I see on the sticker that the device was manufactured in China, and there’s a contact email and WhatsApp number. The web interface is organized into five main sections. The first section displays device information, including the model number, device ID, MAC address, and network settings. I see that DHCP is enabled by default. It automatically selects the correct subnet mask and gateway address and uses the default DNS server. The firmware version I see is 6.0.240818. The interface also shows real-time PoE voltage and power consumption. The second section is System Management, where I can adjust network settings such as DHCP, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS. Additional subsections allow me to modify the device login credentials, perform a local firmware upgrade, manage configurations, and reboot the switch. There is also an AI function configuration subsection where I can enable port watchdog and automatic port extension functions. The third section is Port Config, which includes Port Mirror and Port Management. Under Port Management, I can view a port information table, toggle PoE on or off per port, adjust port duplex settings, and configure port limits. The fourth section is VLAN Management, where I can enable 802.1Q VLAN and MTU VLAN for network segmentation. The fifth section is Security, where I have options to enable Storm Control, adjust Power Supply Adaptive settings, configure DHCP Snooping, and manage MAC address filtering. At the top of each web interface page, I see a graphical representation of port statuses. Active ports are indicated in green, powered PoE ports have a red lightning symbol, inactive ports are marked in black with a red cross, and disconnected ports are shown in plain black. Finally, a logout button is located at the bottom left of the interface.

Very capable managed POE switch. Downlinks are only 100Mbps.
I plugged this into my PC to test it but will not be using it there as it limits my 1Gb internet connection down to 100Mbps. Use only in all-100M networks, or for POE. I'm dropping one star for the asymmetry of the ports—1000 uplink, but only 100x8 downlink. This is a very capable managed POE switch at a remarkably low price. It is advertised as "cloud managed" but it is entirely possible to manage it locally instead—there's a small toggle switch to choose between web and cloud. The switch acts as a DHCP client itself so you just have to figure out what IP address it was assigned by your router and you can get the management page in a browser. The switch has functions like:Port watchdogPort extensionPort mirroringReboot individual ports, show link status (1000/100 etc) and TX/RX/POOE per port.Limit Mbps up/down per portVLAN tagging (802.1Q and MTU)As well as a few functions I'm not sure how to use, like Storm Control, Adaptive Power supply, MAC managing. In short you get a lot for a little. The hardware is sturdy metal, well packed and has a built-in power supply (standard NEMA plug). The instructions included are not terrible.I plugged in one POE device to test and it worked great, and the interface shows the wattage draw on that port.I'd be much happier if it could supply up to 1000Mbps on each downlink port, but it's nice that I could theoretically run 8 100Mbps devices simultaneously, which should be good for many uses. Four stars.

Switch on the front allows web inteface managament mode, no app required
Switch comes with short power cord, which is actually nice if you are putting it in a wiring closet or rack. I really like that there’s a switch on the front that allows you to choose between cloud mode (phone app) and web browser management. I definitely prefer browser management, and all my other equipment is manageable via a browser. Basic features in the management web interface, you can check status of the ports, enable and disable POE per port, set transmission rate limits, setup vlans and some other features. Construction is sturdy metal, and I believe the front is also metal, but there’s a sticker over it that shows port numbers, etc., so it looks like plastic. None of my cameras had an issue with the switch, and it’s really nice that it has 1g uplink ports.

Not worth it
Doesn't support https. After running for a few days, I tried to log in and received the error "The current network is abnormal. Please try again later!". Had to power cycle the switch. The switch is in an access panel, so I can't easily access it.No firmware update available using local-only mode (I have no interest in connecting anything to the cloud), but don't know if an update is available via cloud-mode management.Going back.

Decent switch (with a few caveats)
Got this for testing and at this rate I would rather just get an unmanaged Poe switch. The app is okay but extremely clunky, a network admin could use it but a regular home user would not be able to - I found three different languages on the app even when it’s set to English. As far as the switch goes, it works, and I’ll be using it but not in a production environment. Good product for someone wanting to add PoE to their home network but just to be safe - make sure it’s segmented away from the internet and only use the local web management interface.Other than the interface and possible security holes - it works well, and construction seems fine, no plastic except on the face which is nice.
