The Mac case fits well over all and it will offer some level of protection but also look minimalistic while resembling a Mac. But the key board protector is to sloppy for the key board and hovers over the keys.

This cover was very easy to apply and is not loose (something I've found with others).The keyboard cover is transparent so the backlit keys shine thru and the touch of the keyboard remains great.I bought the Midnight Blue version which looks really nice on my space grey Macbook.Two thumbs up here!
