All the light, none of the peeping
The en suite bath for my bedroom has a nice corner tub with two windows on either wall -- two to the east, two to the south. They are fairly narrow windows but they let in a wonderful amount of light. We have had half-curtains (cafe style) hanging in these windows, but the cats severely object and do their best to destroy the curtains in order to get unobstructed sunlight.I've used window film in a few places and love the ability to introduce light and color in spaces while maintaining privacy. My biggest disappointment: so many lovely rolls are only available in rolls that are narrower than 18"! They're just a bit too narrow for the narrower windows as well as the window panels in the french doors. It's really frustrating having to piece everything in order to fit the width of the glass. That said, this works beautifully.TIP: USE LOTS OF WATER! Seriously. Spray water on the window until it's literally dripping down the window. If you're having trouble with sticking the film on, add more water. If you need to realign the film a little bit, use more water. If you need to add another strip to make it wide enough, add more water. When in doubt, spray more water on the window! For these windows I decided to skip buying a whole additional roll of film in order to fit the width. I used a basic frosted glass film to frame the design film for the full width. These went up really easily and smoothly. They've stayed adhered well so far and look wonderful with great privacy.

Simple and easy solution to window glare and easy view inside.
My home office is in the basement; the windows are at ground level, meaning people can look inside from the side yard. Also, the way it faces, I end up with a terrible glare on the monitors, and there's just not good window dressing for those small basement windows.I got this and it's near perfect. Glare is gone. You can't see in unless you press up against it. Looks great from the outside and inside. The only functional issue is application; the first few were troublesome, with bubbles and not lining up great. But by the end, I got the hang of it and you can't even tell it's a film. And several months later, they still look great.

Amazing!
I am so happy that these are as dark as I wanted them to be. My 3 year old wakes up at the first inkling of sunlight about half the time, so I'm hoping they help him get more sleep. These seriously block out all of the light. Ok, not where I messed up cutting the vinyl, but that's my fault, not a problem with the product. The film is very durable and really good quality. Bubbles came out super easy (I let my 3yo spray the windows. I'm sure that helped) and I was able to take them off and put them back on when I needed to straighten the whole piece out.Functions as advertised. I'm super happy with them. 10/10, 5 stars, better than blackout curtains.Update: Child slept an entire extra hour today! 15000/10! 5 million stars!

Reduced heat and adds daytime privacy.
So far so good. Our office was 10 degrees hotter because the sun hit all 3 windows for 5 hrs of the day. We installed this film and felt a noticeable difference immediately. Interestingly enough you cannot see through the film during the day but not sure yet about the night. The first photo shows the interior view one window with the film and one without. The second photo shows how it looks from the exterior. You can see only one half of my hunky through the window with no film on it. I only gave it 4 stars because it took over a month to arrive and it doesn’t cover as much as we thought.

Very happy. Works great.
This blackout film is much better than other blackout methods we've tried before. Blackout curtains on Amazon are usually thin and hardly block much light. Blackout cloths that stick to the wall and hang over the window are a bit tacky and aren't that easy to take off and put on. This blackout film is thick enough to completely block light. I bought the size that fit to my window (~33" wide), and that's what's shown in my photos.I'm not sure why others complain about the film not sticking. I cleaned the window and applied water before the film, and the film stuck very well to the glass. The one part I wish went a little smoother was cutting the film with an exacto knife after applying. I had a brand new knife, but it didn't seem sharp enough to smoothly cut the film. Maybe more a problem with the knife. But it left a rough edge on the film that you can see in my photos. If I wanted it to have a professional appearance I would do it a bit differently next time. Overall, the room is very dark now, even in the daytime, so these did the job very well.

Absolutely love it.
Looks beautiful day or night. Works wonderfully. Very easy to apply, took me about 5min. Really helps prevent the sun glare i usually deal with but still let's in plenty of light. Love keeping my curtains open and now I dont have to worry about the sun shining directly in my eyes or heating up my bed/other areas of the room. I did end up buying a roll slightly too thin, might buy a bigger size next time but for now this works great, my curtains do cover the small areas not covered by the film.First picture taken at night, second picture taken at 6-7pm in full daylight.

Does not match up
Does not repeat! If you are using this in a pace larger then the roll, just know the pattern doesn’t repeat well. I was able to repeat two pieces but they overlapped by about 1/4 inch which I then had to cut off. And you can only match one side so don’t attempt three rolls side by side. The pattern is pretty and sticks well. I would only recommend if you were not trying to match up rolls.

I love it
Obsessed is an understatement. It was pretty easy to install, but I had purchased a kit off Amazon as well, which is probably why it was so easy. Having it on the window honestly brings me peace of mind.
