Great cameras for the value of money. Took about 30 seconds (if that) to connect to WiFi using Bluetooth. The picture quality and angles are pretty standard but vivid and strong. I can hear the sound quality very well and it’s overall just very easy to operate and function.

Purchased so I could see what my dog does while I'm working. Turns out, he does nothing. Spent 6 hours laying on the couch! Camera works great for what I wanted it for. Easy to set up and the notifications are prompt (when Murphy finally got off the couch). I like that you can switch between Home and Away so you don't get notified when you're home.

Update: The manufacturer has reached out to me (they have very good customer support) so I am upgrading my review. I do like the image quality of the camera. In my case I purchased because it claimed to be ONVIF compliant and I intended to add to my BlueIris system. Unfortunately, they use dynamic stream Url'S which does not work with BlueIris (the URL changes every few minutes on the fly). The only way I could access the cameras was through the phone app which does not work for me. I didn't want to subscribe to cloud coverage, so only option was an SD card for recording video. Hopefully they will rethink the dynamic stream URLs and in the future offer static streams for those who need it. ----- I purchased this camera to connect to my BlueIris software using ONVIF, but the ONVIF does not work at all. There is no web interface, and the configuration in the phone app is clunky at best. There are very few things that you can customize. Can't create new user names, and the default admin account has to be used. When ONVIF is enabled, you can only use the admin account (no way to create a new ONVIF account). Just can't get it to work. I can't recommend this camera.

Several years ago, I initially bought an earlier version of these security cameras. I bought both indoor and outdoor versions, a total of 5. They performed well. More recently, I decided to upgrade to these cameras which are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. They are better quality, providing a sharper image and a wider angle. After about a year's use, one of the outdoor cameras failed (lost its ability to maintain wifi connectivity). Based of my overall satisfaction with these cameras I did not hesitate to replace the failed one with another. Its affordable price made this an easy decision.

I recently purchased the VIMTAG 2025 G4 2.5K Security Camera to keep an eye on my front yard, and it’s exceeded my expectations. This very affordable camera delivers crisp, clear footage day and night, with impressive color night vision that captures details even in low light. I was able to make out a delivery person’s face clearly at 15 feet away, which gives me peace of mind. The two-way microphone/speaker is super responsive and clear. Setup was a breeze—took less than 5 minutes using the Vimtag app, which is intuitive and lets me customize motion zones to avoid false alerts from passing cars and animals. It is super easy to mount and adjust anywhere you need it. It also has a very long USB-C power cable which makes life much easier. I also love that it supports local storage on a microSD card, so I don’t need a subscription; though the cloud option is very affordable. Another great thing about this camera is that it has an experimental ONVIF mode that works flawlessly for me. This allows the camera to be monitored with other brands of desktop software in case you need it. Very convenient! Their tech support is incredibly fast, professional, and overall satisfactory. I have gotten super fast email responses to any questions I had for them. Overall, this camera offers premium features at a budget-friendly price. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile, reliable security solution for their home or business. 5/5 stars and definitely WILL buy more of these!

This camera was perfect. It just stopped working after a month 😖😢 I contacted the support and they helped me with troubleshooting. My camera is working again!! Really recommend it!! It works fine and customer service is great

I now have four of these! One on my back deck, three in my parents' house. Connectivity: perfect, they reach my wifi from a surprising distance away. It takes about 5 minutes or less to set up, and they are very easy to add new cameras to an existing setup, all on the same account. In fact on the app I'm monitoring my house and my parents' house 1200 miles away all in the same grid. Use: they are great with motion detection, and they have fairly good camera quality for the price. The field of view is actually really wide if not truly a fish-eye, and the lag in what you watch on the app is a matter of a second or so. So they're fast to transmit. I got the data storage plan from Vimtag, I don't have an SD card and have them record the cameras to the cloud (also available on my app for review) for 7 days. It's pretty inexpensive. I only have it record if motion is detected, otherwise it's nonrecorded streaming. It does pick up my cat on the deck, it doesn't record slight breezes moving the leaves in the trees, so it's fairly good at discerning real movement from wind. Also the one I have outside has been rained on extensively. I have a waterproof cord keeper thing for the plug but the unit itself has been rained on without issue and is still going strong a year later.
