These looked beautiful on our counter but do not buy these if you plan on using them to cut food that you will eat. I purchased these a little over a year ago as a Christmas gift so we started using them in December of last year and this is what they look like currently. Most of the gold has come off on all of the cutting service and much of the gold has also come off of the handles on almost every one of these knives. I am most concerned that all of this gold has come off while we were using them to eat and cut our food leaving me to think that the goals coloring has now been ingested by us for this last year which is very concerning. We are very careful not to put them in the dishwasher and gently clean them. I wrote to the company and I was extremely impressed and hopeful because they said they would replace them then once I sent my order details they said it was out of the warranty and they would not replace them. I understand if this was normal wear and tear for them not to be replaced but this is not the case. So either the item that we have is defective in which case a replacement would be in order even if it’s after the warranty or they only expect these to last for a year which is sad. If you are reading good reviews it is probably people who have not had these long enough to see how they hold up when you actually use them

Estos cuchillos aparte de verse hermosos en la cocina ya llebo mas de un año con ellos y recien ahora es que los he amolado porque su filo ha sido exelente y creanme que en mi casa se usan todo el dia porque somos latinos y se cocina demaciado asi que estan mas que probados,son exelentes.
