Wonderful!!
I bought this bike for myself. I absolutely love it!! It took my husband less than 30 minutes to finish assembling it. It rides smooth. I packed the tools that came with the bike into my bike bag. I had to tighten the handlebars during my first ride. This was because my husband didn't have it tight enough. I'm 5'5" and I'm very pleased with the fit.

Good but loose seat
I really like this bike. I am a little annoyed because I have my seat pretty high up and it’s constantly loose. I usually have to retighten before I ride it. I have longer legs so I had to go the max height. Other than that it was easy to put together and I enjoy riding it.

Great Bike! Seat hurts!
Great bike. However, seat is too hard. Overall, it's a good purchase.

Wasted Money
Bought this bike for an 11-year-old girl, She is maybe 65LBS, a few weeks she is riding in the park and the rear wheel began to shake, the rear hub was trashed, as seen in the pictures. The local bike shop could not even fix it. Huffy sent a front wheel. The bike is sitting in the garage waiting to figure out how to fix it. I thought Huffy made better products.

Nice little ladies bike! 26 inch Ladies Escalate Mint
I bought this for casual road and trail biking. It looks great and rides great too. Had to take it to a shop to be tuned up, but everything works. Love the gear shifters! Bought a comfort seat and ditched the hatchet that came with it.

Heavy and Poor build and assembly. Useless after a few month.
The bike was very heavy for an aluminum bike, I've seen many steel bike lighter than this. Pedaling is heavy and braking is even worse. The brake pads are hard and smooth while the rim is flat. With its weight, it's very difficult to brake effectively. I changed out the brake pads as soon as a ride a bit with it. After 3-4 month of 30 min riding daily, a very pronouced knocking noise starts to occur near the pedeal/bottom bracket area. I first thought it's the pedal bearing since they are not spinning freely at all. After replacing the pedals, the knocking still occurs. I think it must be the bottom bracket. I contacted Huffy for warranty, they respond "The warranty only covers defects, this sounds like the bottom bracket may be loose and in need of an adjustment. The factory warranty does not cover routine maintenance. " I had bike riding for 6 years without bottom bracket loosing until I replace it. In my opinion, it's either poor quality (bottom bracket bearing breaks) or assembly. Either way, fixing the bike would cost more than buying used quality bike in my area. This bike is useless now. I know it's difficult to buy a bike on the used marketplace. That's why I gave a try with department store bike here. Needless to say, I am disappointed. You might be better off looking for a used bike instead. I know I am .
