Good quality, generic substitute for OEM. Recommended.
Work is fine, printer recognized. It didn’t have a problem with it being generic. Great price point worth it to keep one on hand so we’re not caught without your printer.

Just went through this with an Epson XP-4200 printer. Anytime you setup, clean, do maintenance, print or even test print, you WILL have ink overflow. It's inherent over time and all printers are setup to print a limited number of pages which when reached will give you an error or a message to change the overflow tank. Cleaning the tank will NOT rest the print number, you have to get a new overflow tank. No way around it and actually it's pretty good idea to keep your printer running healthy an performing as you need. I chose to purchase this well ahead of time so I have it on hand when I need it, and I will eventually. The new built in chip will reset your print number to zero and restart the counting process as if your printer were new. Small investment for a lot of security. Purchased my G-3270 on sale during October from Amazon for just $129, great cost savings and it's already printed several hundred pages from my new tank printer. Love not having to buy cartridges and even a full set of inks are less than the cost of a SINGLE cartridge. It also holds 100 pages which is a nice feature. Definitely recommend having one these Maintenance Cartridges on hand rather than getting caught in the middle of a needed print job! Very small investment for a whole lot of convenience!

Although the manufacturer of this cartridge did not list it as being compatible with the Canon MAXIFY GX5020; Canon did say to use the MC-G01 cartridge. I ordered it and got it in a couple days, I followed Canon's installation instructions and it's working like a charm. This cartridge was almost half the price of the Canon brand and I got a $5.00 discount when I placed my order so that was a bit of a bonus. So . . . I'm happy and I hope my printer will be happy for a long time too.
