I've tried various screen break reminders, phone alarms and pomodoro apps, which none of which work well for me. This timer is so simple, very easy to use and easy to make a habit of using ... its probably the closest you can get to a kitchen timer. This Kadams timer has a minimalist design, has a clear display and labelling, feels nice to handle with a quality feel, convenient and intuitive to operate .. and is small & light enough to be portable, for example in your laptop bag. Highly recommended :)

One would be surprised how well flipping the item to turn it on works. Easy to use even for a toddler. Can work as pomodoro timer, in the kitchen or to track how much time you spend on a task. The kids love to use it while brushing teeth. You can specify your own time if you are not happy with the presets. There is also a key that allows to count up instead of down. The round shape indicates graphically how much time is left, which is great from a distance. The beep has a satisfying tone - very reminiscent of the old-school BRAUN alarm clocks. Well designed, but note that it is made of plastic. Nothing fancy but well executed. No wonder we bought another one as a gift.

I’ve had this great little timer for almost 2 months. It was recommended on an ADHD YouTube channel. I did look around at others and determined this was the best option because it had all the features I needed while still staying simple: • cute (yes, that’s important!) • easy to use • not distracting • visible time circle • time options I need: 5, 10, 25, 50 • small enough to carry around. It also has: • adjustable time segments • count up option • mute option • physical on / off (besides the auto turn off when not used) I haven’t had to charge it in the 2 months I’ve had it, it’s really solid, and works really well. My friend recently came over to focus and do some charting for work. She saw my timer on the table and started using it. She was so productive she immediately ordered herself bought one for herself. Yes, we have timers on our phones and Alexa speakers, but this design is so good without being distracting. It might fit in your pocket but it really packs a punch!
