I like watches and own a number, the most expensive one costing over $3,000. This one was recommended in a men's magazine published in the USA and at an impossibly low price. It looked good in photographs. To my pleasure I found it even more keenly priced on Australian Amazon than in the USA. The watch is a convenient size, not too large but the time, date and second hand are all very easy to read. I chose the gold leaf version with its parchment coloured watch face. It looks traditional but smart. One unusual feature is that, with a press of the winder, a soft green light illuminates the face. This is really useful for checking the time in a dark space such a theatre or in bed. The watch also came with a high quality leather strap in a harmonising mid-brown colour. Unsurprisingly perhaps, it keeps excellent time. I can't recommend this too strongly.

I was expecting little big, it was medium in size, what surprising was it came in the expected time as i have mention in the instruction.

You honestly can’t go wrong with Timex. It’s sleek! Unfortunately it was a bit too big and masculine for me and had to gift to a male friend. Ordered a smaller size that suited me more.

When receiving this watch I immediately put my high quality 100% leather band to it, because the so-called leather bands that come with cheaper watches are not all leather and are of overall poor quality. I like this watch because it has large clear numbers on the dial, making it easy to tell the time under less than bright lighting. A few things I would personally like to have improved: it ticks too loud to my taste; and I would prefer to have had orange light instead of green.
