Worth the price. Solidly made and good finish. Not the most comfortable chairs in the world, but they look great and feel like they will last a long time. These are taller than average chairs which adds to the visual appeal in my opinion.

So these are very nice chairs, and we are 100% satisfied. They are heavy, and they feel well constructed. All 4 chairs are level. My husband put them together with no problems. The cushions are a little more tan than gray, but it works for my situation. In terms of comfort - the cushion seats are wide and firm, but the back tilts back a little more than I would like, but its fine. The chairs are bigger than I expected, but I have an 8.5ft island so they fit well. The wood is not a high quality hardwood & the paint has a little plastic sheen to it, but for the cost its a great value, and they really are very pretty. I would recommend these chairs.

I ordered 6 chairs (three boxes). Upon receipt, one of the three large boxes was pretty beat up, so I was worried the contents had been damaged. However, the chairs are packed in cardboard and styrofoam pretty securely and the outside box can take a beating without damaging the contents. The attention to detail of the manufacturers is really apparent! There are 10 bolts that assemble each chair, plus 6 wood screws. With each bolt is a lock washer and flat washer. The manufacturer has already placed each bolt through the two washers and bundled each size together with rubber bands. Also, they put a little loctite on each bolt - which is nice.I assembled each chair one at a time, threading each bolt down to contact with the lock washers and then inserting the leg braces into position. Then I was able to stand the chair up on its legs for the final turning of the bolts. This enabled ALL four legs to be aligned correctly so there is no wobble in the finished chair. After I was satisfied of this technique, I also added wood glue on the male ends of the leg braces.All six chairs came together solidly - about 45 minutes per chair to assemble. Not super easy to assemble, but manageable for anyone.

bought these to replace the old metal counterstools I had. These were easy to assemble (my husband did them all by himself), and they are so comfortable. The seat is wide enough for my larger sized rear end, and supportive. The fabric is pretty tough, and easily wiped down. The wood is a nice light beige/winter white that looks worn on purpose. These fit perfectly with the style of my kitchen, and I would def recommend these. They wobble a little when not occupied, but as soon as you sit down, the wobbling stops.Cheaper on Amazon than at Ashley in store, just sayin'...

THE GOOD: The paint color & seat fabric pair together nicely for a modern-rustic look. The paint is medium-tone black mat finish with a just hint of distressing, & the seat upholstery is a tweed-like fabric in a unique dark beige color (not quite brown). IMO the subtle box trim feature on the front legs is the design detail that completes modern-rustic look on these chairs. Assembly was quick & easy with clear instructions (NOTE: Allen-wrench is included BUT you will need Phillips screwdriver).THE BAD: IMO the padding on the seats is too thin making them feel super hard without any cushioning but not necessarily uncomfortable. But for this price, the seats are perfectly fine for their intended use.THE SAD: One of the chair back legs came badly damaged with deep cracking and splintering around dowel inserts and deep scratch marks along outside leg.

We had just purchased a new dining room suite. Needed to replace my old bar stools. These matched our dining room set.

Easy to put together , beautiful !

I love these chairs, great quality. You have to assemble them, but they are easy to put together. Just remember not to tighten the bolts until you have it all together, as the chair may wobble and not be sitting straight and you have to adjust to make it balance. I only ordered 4 chairs, and am definately ordering another 2. Great price and quality.

I ordered 4 chairs.....made in Vietnam and you can sure tell. Was missing 2 screws, the side bars did not fit at all, they look horrible. The holes were drilled in the wrong area for them to fit properly. The legs on the chairs are not all the same height, I had to put some sticky foam pieces on the bottom of some of the legs to make them even and some of the bolts would not even screw into the pre-drilled holes. Ashley furniture should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a product. I wouldn't even give them 1 star!!!!
