Great deal! Great tan- no smell, nice color- don’t use any acid based soaps/lotions!
This bundle is a great deal! I am very fair and I do not like to sit in the sun. I first tried the dark to deep hoping to accelerate color. My color came out nice, but a little orangish. A little tanning smell when applying, but NOTHING the next day and nothing after showering. I then tried the light version and wow! I met my tanning soulmate. The color came out a very pretty light brownish, with a subtle glow. This also stays nicely for 2 showers and then I needed to apply again. This is a white lotion, so no color guide BUT this tanner is very hard to get wrong. I use a 2 tanning mits and a tanning back wiper and this lotion is so forgiveable my color comes out nicely- not streaky at all. When I used the deeper shade, I could tell where I applied a little too much, much it was easy to fix with some glycolic acid on a cotton pad. Also, during the summer I do not use any moisturizers or soaps with acids (lactic, aha, bha, glycolic, azealic etc.) because they will exfoliate your tan off- BUT if you make a boo-boo you can use them to buff down an over zealous patch. I use perlier honey gel and philosophy pure grace in the shower, and for lotion I use perlier honey or philosophy pure grace. Then I follow this with Vaseline bronze shine on my décolleté , legs and arms for a mature glowy touch - it looks great! Not like I fell into sparkles… Anyway, pick the color that best fits where you are now. I am glad I took a step down from the deep to the light . My faux tan came out much more realistic. This is also very hard to ‘mess up’ compared to stronger tanners like st tropez. I do use the st tropez 1 hr express occasionally on top of the jergens for a little oomph and it comes out really pretty—— especially when I follow it up with the Vaseline bronze glowing lotion!

Works great
This stuff is great. Not orange or streaky at all. Very natural looking. Took about 3 days in a row to see a very noticeable difference. I got the light/medium because I wanted to play it safe. I would say unless you are very fair, go darker. I will definitely try the darker one when I'm finished with this tube. I can't really compare this to other self-tanners, as I haven't used any since way back in the day when they all smelled like chemicals, stained everything and turned you into a streaky Cheeto. But I will say, NO streaks, NO Cheeto-orange skin, NO staining of clothes, and NO stinky smell. Has sort of a light, beachy smell. Absorbs pretty quickly into skin so you can get dressed after a few minutes. Also makes skin feel very soft and smooth - and IS a little firming!

Med-Dark gives a great natural looking glow, especially on extremely pale skin
I have very, very fair skin (as in NARS Siberia needs a bit of white mixer to actually be light enough to match me kind of "fair skinned") and while I enjoy my natural skintone I woke up the other morning kind of feeling having some kind of small tan/vaguely bronzed glow to my skin. I had gotten a sample tube of the St. Tropez Purity Brozing Gel a few weeks back for free, remembered I had it, and promptly went out and bought something for my whole body and got to work. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money and wanted something that wouldn't be an instantaneous dark bronzed look in the event I absolutely hated it. I figured I can always go for an instant tanning product later on if I liked it or felt like this wasn't enough color. I did look up the two different color options before buying and a lot of folks said the darker option gave a more golden-olive hue than the lighter which was more of golden-peach and that the lighter shade was very very subtle. Since I have naturally yellow toned skin I knew I needed to go for the darker option for it to not look weird or possibly orange but also that the darker shade would likely at least give me a bit of noticeable color on the first day - which it did! I prepped my skin as best I could (exfoliated the absolute life out of it and shaved the night before and then applied a very light and non-sticky moisturizer to my dry areas like elbows, knees, ankles, and armpits before bed) and then the next morning I went at it. I applied everywhere that my bra and panties don't cover, including my ears and armpits. The lotion is somewhere on the average to heavy side which is great for my dry skin but I'd imagine oilier folks may not like it. It does dry down and sink in relatively quickly (3-5 minutes) and I didn't notice any kind of residual feeling or texture after that point. There is a scent but I thinks it's pretty subtle and I didn't notice it by the end of the day. Color-wise this is FABULOUS; it's very natural looking and while not super bronzed and tan it's given me a lovely golden glow that I'd guess is around 2 shades darker than my natural skin color after two applications in a row. I definitely did notice a little color from only one application but I was curious how much darker I'd get from another and was pleasantly surprised that while also noticeablely darker it wasn't way too much color. Obviously from my own starting point I still look pretty fair skinned but it's less Vampire-Fair and more Brushed Gold-Fair and I like it a lot. There is a bit of streaking that I noticed but it's super minor and in some hard to reach spots for me so I'm chalking that up to it being a technique thing on my part rather than a fault in the product because places like my arms, neck, and shins look flawless in comparison to the slightly imperfect ones. One thing to note for anyone not used to self-tanners though - it is SUPER IMPORTANT to prep your skin properly before doing it or you will have so many patchy, streaky, strange areas. Elbows, wrists, feet, ankles, anywhere with thin or dry skin will grab the color strong so be sure you avoid those areas until you just have a little residue left from applying elsewhere and then lightly brush over those areas. I wasn't as careful as I thought I was and had to spend a few minutes sugar-scrubbing my dark elbows to get some of the color off. Overall Pros/Cons: Pros: - It's easy to use/hard to screw up - Genuinely gradual color - it's not going to turn you 2-3 shades darker on one application even if you are super fair like me - Scent isn't obnoxious - natural looking color - good value - over two applications I've used about 1/3 of the bottle for my entire body so at $8 a tube for something to try out I think that's great. Also I was a little heavy handed the first go so I probably could have used less than I actually did. Cons: - because it's not instant color it can be hard to tell where you've already put it. I'd suggest just trying to work in quadrants but it's not going to give you a super uneven color if you do overlap in places - It's subtle. For me this is more of a pro but I know some people like really deep tans so please be aware this is not going to give you that from one or two applications - it's somewhat heavy so there are going to be folks with certain skin types that just will not like how this feels. If that is the case - an alternative is the St Tropez bronzing gel is super lightweight and while not as gradual as this it will actually give you a pretty natural looking color (I got a sample in my Allure box that I used on my face with this on my body and it's stellar). In all, I think this is a pretty great subtle tanner that's beginner friendly or great for clowns like me that wake up one morning and decide "I got a bottle of sample tanner, let's buy something for the rest of me and dump them all over 2 hours before work and see what happens!" And pale skinned people need not be afraid of the darker option (but I'll still be afraid of the dark instant-tanners because man I've seen those go super dark).

Self Tanner
This is a great self tanner. It comes in different colors to suit everyone. The scent is not bad either.

Smells Nice!
I am a golfer and a runner and most of the time I spend outside I have socks and shoes on. As a result, my feet are very very white. I needed to attend a wedding and wanted to wear sandals and this product was recommended to me. I followed the instructions and used it several days in a row to build more of a tan, and it worked beautifully. I was not orange, and the color was not streaky. Instead, it was a natural tan that blended with my skin and my legs. Most surprisingly, I have always hated the smell of Jergens lotion. I was going to suffer through it just to use this product because I needed it. I was delighted to find that this lotion smells very nice. I have not done further research to find out if Jergens changed their scent on everything, but this was not the “old lady“ scent I remembered from my youth.

Love this stuff!
This is probably the 4th or 5th year I’ve used this. I am incredibly light skinned with melanoma in the family so I do not tan. More so, I try really hard to avoid the sun between high SPF and sun shirts, which is great, until your legs are the color do the moon. Anyway, I love this because it’s super forgiving. Put it on like lotion (I just use my hands and wash my palms after). I use the light/medium. I’ve never had issues with streaking, creases or folds, no crazy smell and no transferring or sticky feeling. I just put it on, rubbing it in like lotion and let the lotion soak in for a few minutes then get ready for bed. For me, I use it daily for 2-3 days to get the slightly alive “I’ve seen the sun” color then when I’m happy I switch to only using it every 2-3 days to maintain. Make sure you are moisturizing between days with other lotions or it’ll start to look like weird self tanner cracking after a few days. Really easy to use and cheap. It’s my go to every summer and I love how it’s not a big, hard process to look like you’ve seen some sun. I have very sensitive skin and have never had an issue with the face or body lotion and the lotion is nice hydrating stuff

Good, works great ,but will stain white clothes or shoes.
I use this all the time, it works great for a tan but I'm only giving it 3 stars because it says that it will not stay in clothing or sheets but that is simply not true. It will wash out of some darker colored clothing but if you wear a lot of white, you will have dinginess around all of the places your skin touches the clothing and just realized today it's ruined my new white shoes because the Back of the tongue touches my ankle and it turned it Brown!!

very strong
wow this is my first time using tanning lotion as I never tan in the sun, no matter what. And i’ve been wanting to add some color to my face to look leaner and damn, only two days of using once or twice a day and my skin is so nicely bronzed without being orange, the smell to me is super nice, like those summer spfs, but it’s not too strong. Love
