Are the blanket and bunny one piece?

Yes. It's one piece and connected as if the bunny is holding the blanket in between the hands. I was nervous at first that it could be easily separated but, it's hung on for 3+ years and still going strong through lots of loving.

Does this item have button eyes? Or are they just stitching?

Just Stitching. We have the puppy (2) for our son and he won't go anywhere without them. Obsessed! They wash and wear really well. Though, we washed them so much I did have to reattach the blanket part, but it was after the 100th wash or so! We have a second boy on the way and got him the dark blue elephant. I am sure he will love it just as much!

How should I wash and dry this?

I wash it in the gentle cycle and drip dry.

What is the size of the blanket?

13x3x18 inches. It's the perfect size for a baby. My daughter is 6 months old and has had it for several months now. My niece is 2 months and loves hers as well.
