WILL THIS HELP BACK PAIN ? ARTHRITIS ?

The Osteo Bi-Flex is advertised as helpful for joint discomfort. That is why I take it - and it REALLY helps. I have arthritis in my knees, hips and other places. As far as relieving back pain, I really cannot say. I have chronic back pain and I take pain pills, use heat, etc. for that, so I really don't think the Osteo-Bi-Flex helps with back pain. I DO notice the difference in my knees and other joints if I don't take the Osteo-Bi-Flex on a regular basis. Hope this answers your question.

The Osteo Bi-Flex line helps joints and muscles. If your back problems are muscle related, then it is designed to strengthen those muscles. I would suggest you ask your doctor if it's okay to take them for back problems, as my mother's doctor recommended them to all patients with joint and muscle problems. And, after taking the MSM Formula Joint Care ones, she was able to come off of her prescription pain pills that she took for back pain. So, bring a bottle to your doctor and get his/her advice. I have TRIGGER FINGER (LEFt ring finger). It pops when I bend it and hurts when try to return to its original postion. It is swollen and hurts?

SUGGESTION: After breaking my right wrist and lifting up my disabled husband from chairs using only my left hand, my left thumb not only became a trigger finger, but "triggered" constantly, hundreds of times daily. My chiropractor (chiropractic...also a GREAT suggestion!) told me to do stretching exercises. He also said not to tape, but use the hand/finger normally as much as possible. (I had been using kinesiology tape, which does help my wrist when playing the organ for multiple services now.) I adapted my orthopedist therapy exercises for that hand, stretching hand with fingers back for a count of ten, repeated this throughout the day in a number of different exercise formats, but with the left hand I would also repeatedly follow the backward stretching with a front stretch, holding hand and fingers over frontwards. In a few days, the trigger occurred less frequently, now hardly at all. I'm back to helping Hubby with both hands now, but still continue stretching exercises in both directions, both hands. Hope this helps. P.S. As a pianist/organist, these stretching exercises should have been part of my routine eons before all this occurred!
