When using Muro 128 ointment at bedtime, do you have blurred vision or a film over your eye the next morning?

not in the morning - a little goo on my skin, but no blur - my doctor recommended this to me several years ago and it's been my savior - otherwise my eyes are very dry in the morning and I have difficulty opening them!

How is this compared to other oinments?

My eye doctor recommended Muro 128 for chronic dry eyes. You can only use it at bedtime. It's the best I've tried. Comparable store brands work, but not as well. Since it is expensive, I do use store brands about half the time.

there are a number of ingredients. you will have to look at the box in a store perhaps to read them all.

Does this product contain parabens?

reading from the box: active ingredient sodium chloride inactive ingredients: lanolin, mineral oil, purified water, white petrolatum - have been using this for years - my eyes are so dry that I can't open them in the morning if I haven't used this product at night!
