A Quality Microscope
This scope is very easy to use and well built. My previous scope was an older one that came in a Belden kit and it was difficult to focus and the fiber was never centered in your view. This scope puts that one to shame and I can't recommend it enough. With the 400x you can even see the dried residue left by alcohol wipes before you polish it.

400x power fiber tip viewer
400x is a pretty strong.. i can not see the whole end of the fiber.. maybe 200x is better. it is hard to focus on the tip and see if the fiber is flat.. the LED light is too bright.. it need some sort of intensity adjustemnt on the side that can be twteeked. Also it only comes with 2.5mm and 1.25mm TIP inserts. so this does not work with 3.15mm fiber optics connector tips for FC SC ST and SMA905. you can press out the small insert. then tap it for a standard fiber connector. they dont seem to sell extra tips so you can make our own.

Must have fiber tool
I have tested it and I am very happy with it. I had no problem seeing the fiber and ferrule end. Razor sharp clarity not a problem.

Handy item for fiber optic use.
This is a great product and necessary for a beginner's use. I checked fibers before and after cleaning. You can see the difference. Well recommended. It also has a good feel to it. Not cheap plastic.
