Fantastic laptop and good value
Alienware seems to really gotten their act together recently. This laptop is beautiful, has a great high-quality feel to all the materials including the keyboard, and yet it’s actually a pretty good value given the performance specs. The only thing I can possibly complain about is the screen isn’t the highest quality. It’s got great frame rate, and nice color, but the contrast isn’t great, and the uniformity of blacks is pretty poor. I really wish Alienware would offer an OLED screen on what is supposed to be their flagship laptop, but that’s only a minor complaint. I’d certainly be happy to pay more to get a better screen, but at this price point the screen quality is acceptable. The thermals are much improved over the prior generation. There’s only so much they can do because they insist on using Intel processors, but they’ve done a nice job with the cooling on this one. Unless you’re playing a game you won’t even notice the fan, and when you are it’s not nearly as loud as the prior generation, and the laptop itself doesn’t get as hot. Lastly, the performance: absolutely amazing for a laptop. Especially at this price. I could run Forza 5 at the highest settings and hit 240 frames a second. Just fantastic performance for something you can take with you.

Fast and Reliable
One of the best gaming laptops I've ever used. Any game is playable at 1440p with good settings. The fan noise can be controlled im the panel menu for a more cozy experience. Expensive but very much worth the price. Also a recommended way to start Xbox Game Pass since it's included for free for 3 months. The heat level will vary on the game but so far its been comfortable for me. Only thing is you may want a hard drive.

Very cool! Hard on the wallet lol
This is my 3rd Alienware laptop, and I have loved them all. Of course the cost is very pricey, but for me its worth it. I did have to get through about 2 hours updates when I first started it up. The built quality is really great, plenty of memory for my use, the sound quality is just okay, sounds very boxy. Fans work really great, this laptop runs much cooler then I thought it would. Two complaints: The startup sound is not controllable at all and you can not mute it, 2nd I wish I could control keeping the touchpad light on all the time and other adjustments for it. Overall, this laptop rocks in my opinion.

Documented defect + evasive seller behavior + unresolved refund
Laptop arrived defective out of the box: critical system errors, shutdown cycles, and instability despite resets. There was no functional usage period — it was defective from day one. The seller’s posted return terms required contacting them, but no contact method was provided, resulting in days of delay. When finally reached through Amazon messaging, seller denied the defect despite evidence, delayed communication, and refused to acknowledge a legitimate DOA return. Amazon ultimately intervened and authorized the return. As of this review, my refund is still pending. I have confidence Amazon will enforce it, but the fact that intervention was required is concerning. Additional concern: This listing repeatedly displays different seller names. It appears the same business entity may be operating under multiple Amazon storefront identities, which would prevent buyers from making informed decisions about reputation and accountability. Based on the defective product, obstructive response, and shifting seller identity behavior, I strongly advise buyers to avoid third-party sellers on this listing entirely and purchase directly from Amazon or the manufacturer instead.

It's bigger than it looks online
It's a massive laptop and it weighs a ton, over quality of the laptop is great! The specs are great! Just a bit slow booting and the Alienware softwares are all sluggish. Screen quality is okay nothing impressive but the heat dissipation is amazing. Update: sometimes it hangs and drop frames during game play despite being in performance mode.

Fast, Great Graphics and Screen
I've really like my Alienware 18" laptop. It's fast, and the screen is big and high quality. It has two downsides: it's heavy (which is to be expected for a big gaming laptop), and it runs a little hot when in performance mode (which is also to be expected for a gaming laptop that is as fast as this one is). If you're looking for a small, easily portable laptop, this isn't your machine. But if you're looking for a fast gaming laptop with great graphics, this might be the right one for you.

Great Laptop, but False Advertising
The laptop itself runs amazing. The hardware in it is more than capable of keeping up with modern titles. Buyer beware, however, because the SSD is only a Gen 3 despite the title saying Gen 5 and the description saying Gen 4. Please see the picture of the SanDisk dashboard for the interface speed. Update: So more shadiness that I just discovered. The RAM is advertised as 2x16GB DDR5-6400, and the service tag specs confirm this. However, there is one stick of 32GB ADATA RAM at DDR5-5600 (P/N: AD5S560032G-B). I doubt the RAM is CSODIMM as what the service tag says the 2x16GB is supposed to be. I will have to physically check if there's a clock driver on the module (highly doubt it because of researching the ADATA part number). I'm glad I bought this machine at its lowest price, or I would be very upset at the slower RAM and the lack of PCIe Gen 5 NVMe.

Gaming on the go with high quality and performance
If you travel alot and lie to game like me, this is it folks, great machine, had issues with drivers at the start because I didn't know how to update all drivers but Dell support guided me through all the steps to make it run very smooth through Dell website tool, it is speedy but well worth the money, seems pretty sturdy but I wouldn't try to use it as a chair, it gets pretty hot, runs all games after optimizing them with Nvidia app at 100+ fps at 1440p, im in love

It was a used Laptop. (Amazon is the seller). This is not the first time this has happened. The Alienware was too loud and too heavy. It arrived September 1, 2025. I installed Windows 11. I attempted to register the Alienware laptop with Dell. The laptop was already registered online with Dell on July 2, 2025. Dell denied me ownership and the warranty; a one-year warranty is listed in the laptop's online description. I returned the laptop on September 2nd because the system had no warranty. A full refund issued Sep 11 2025.
