Good for the money. Watched a bird nest.
I bought this to install over a bird nest (not exposed to the rain) and watch as the eggs hatched and the babies grew. it worked great and was a lot of fun. This is an inexpensive camera so the image quality is just OK in a lower light situation. The night vision works just OK as well. Probably better in higher light situation. Unless you need high def video this should work for simple applications. It has a cable with one audio connector, a video connector and a power connector. The microphone works and I could hear the little bird chirping for its mother. The Monoprice 106883 12V DC .5A CCTV Security Camera Power Supply Adapter available on Amazon works as a power supply. Setup was straight forward. Good value.

Video not great
USE: Video inside bird houseLikes: It was inexpensive, small, it worked (others of similar design did not).Dislikes: Clip broke off after third use (fixed with dot of super glue), resolution was about what you would expect from a camera this inexpensive - low and slightly below average. It might be suitable for some. Better in daylight than at night. At night the image has a blueish cast. The IR LEDs heated up more than I was comfortable with in a birdhouse.

Worth the money!!!!
Not the best picture but actually very durable. I'm constantly redefining the location of cameras.... the other mini cctv cameras wires aren't attached as well as this one. Actually very good night vision. Doesn't glow bright red. Sound is decent. Overall excellent choice for the money.
