I like most of Samsung's electronics. Most of the time they are high quality and last for years. This ring is a big exception. The ring does an okay job at tracking your vitals, fits well, and has a high quality feel to it. It's nice and light weight thanks to the titanium used. It does good at tracking your heart rate and sleep. Oxygen seems a little sub par, but it still gives an okay idea. The step tracking is also pretty good. Setup is easy. There is nothing to it. It's quick and simple. The big issue is the battery. If you look online you'll see a plethora of people all saying the same thing. The battery worked at first and provided five to seven days between charges, then something happened and the battery life dropped off a cliff. I can attest that this is true. I get less than 18hrs of battery life. The batteries have to be defective to impact so many people. You can try to get a replacement from Samsung, but that's going to be a pain. They are not making it easy and they are not admitting anything is wrong with the batteries in these. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this product. If you have one, and can still return it, do that ASAP. This should be a great product. It has potential, but Samsung fumbled the badly on one of the most important parts.

I tried to like the ring. I really did. It worked mostly as expected except when I wore it for a 2 hour bike ride and only got one heart rate reading for the whole ride. My problem and the reason for my low rating is not the ring itself, but the problems I had with my Samsung phone when I used it. I have used my phone for several years (Galaxy S21 Ultra purchased new) as a good example of what an Android phone should be. In that time, I had avoided establishing a Samsung account because there was nothing I needed from there. However, to use the ring, I needed an account to enable proper operation of the ring, so I finally created one. Having done so, the ring was working well aside from the bike ride I mentioned. The problem came once the Samsung account was established. It quickly took over my phone, broke the Google Play store app and switched me to the Samsung app store instead. Suddenly all of my apps thought they were downloaded from the Samsung store instead, but when I tried to get details on them, they weren't available in the store - just a link to nothing. And if they weren't in the Samsung store and the Google Play store didn't work anymore, it meant I would no longer receive updates on my apps. For this reason, I decided to return the ring and disable access to my Samsung account permanently. I restored the Google Play app and started receiving app updates again. I won't be using the Samsung account anymore and my other Samsung devices will never be allowed to use it either. I don't like being slammed whether it's an app store or a web browser. It's my choice what I use and any manufacturer or service provider that wants to keep my business needs to let me make my own choices!!! (end rant)

Honestly great product and it does a pretty good job on tracking but like everyone else says the battery life is trash after a month or so, had it for almost a year now and it dies in less that 2 hours. I would advise to not bother buying it it would be a waste of money

New Update: In the end I chose to return the ring. After a week of testing I came to the conclusion that this item was not worth the price. It did not offer and significant value to my life, health, amd wellness for the $400 price tag. The in depth sleep tracking was neat but not always rated accurately, same with my energy score. The AI would assume habits based in how I slept. My watch offers more for $100 less. I did however enjoy wearing the ring to bed, it is so lite I wouldn't be disturbed by it. The final decision in returning the ring was the minor heart attacks I'd have when I'd momentarily misplace the ring after washing hands or going to the gym (because you can't lift with this ring on). I got tired of constantly wondering when I was going to finally lose this $400 gadget. Neat idea just not enough value introduced to my life to justify the cost. Even with it being tied into the ecosystem of my watch and phone. As a Samsung lover, I enjoyed it, as your average consumer, it's a pass. Rating stands at 3/5 stars. ......... I am still introducing it to my daily routine. Today is the first day i wear it. I unboxed it yesterday and charged it over night. While bored I was looking at the ring and noticed there appears to be a scratch on the finish already. Disappointing since I work an office job and haven't even done my workout routines. Still early for a product review but as far as out of the box inspection..3 out of 5. I will have a full product review after a few days.

Product works exactly how it says. The only issue is the battery life. It most definitely does not last a week. 5 days tops.
