I bought one of these a few weeks ago and it worked incredibly well and was very easy to attach. I bought another one and the most recent one is just complete garbage. It pops it cracks. It makes loud humming noise like it’s shorts out. I tried multiple times to attach the cable thinking. It was something with the connection but it’s internal to the switch. Somethings wrong with this. Buy it at your own risk.

Funciona bien

I realize it is designed to be quick and idiot-proof, hence the no-solder, set-screw-penetration connection. I actually prefer solid solder connections. They are more permanent, and a certain size cable is not required when soldering. It works, but I wouldn't trust it at an important gig.

These solderless jacks are supposed to be easy and foolproof, but not so. I clipped the cord as instructed, inserted it into the jack, gave it a twist, but no go. I did this three times before I gave up and sent it back. I had good luck with D'addario/Planet Waves circuit breaker cords fifteen years ago but have not had good luck with them recently. I've given up on them.

This plug requires a D'Addario cable being inserted into the back end. No es tan facil como cortar un cable y meterlo... Cortar un cable sin que se toquen pelos del de señal y el de tierra ya es dificil, hay que manipular los terminales para que eso no ocurra. Y luego, hacer coincidir un cable cortado recubierto de plastico de menos de un milimetro, en un pequeño vastago en el interior, y luego ajustarlo sin que se mueva ni medio milimetro o te sales, y todo eso a ciegas, es completamente imposible. Hay que complicarse la vida para hacerlo coincidir todo. Y luego afianza el cable y el jack con cinta o termoretractiles o con lo que sea, porque como se mueva un poco, adios conexion. No me gusta, al menos que no lo hagan parecer tan facil. Edito. En directo me ha dejado tirado dos veces. No lo recomiendo ni loco.

Too much noisy, especially if you have even a small amount of reverb or chorus.
