I like the fact that this came with it's own dropper & in a significant quantity. It was initially purchased because a new tenant in our small apartment complex brought "friends" with them; German Cockroaches. Online sources listed a number of different essential oils as a repellent & Basil was essentially the only one that was not listed as toxic to our feline friends. Furthermore we've found that they have no interest in it as opposed to the Peppermint, which is most widely documented as a roach repellent & is toxic to cats, but unfortunately our cats seem drawn to anything remotely minty. Now for the downsides. First of all there was something seriously wrong with the supply chain in ordering this product. It took more than 2 1/2 months to get to my home after it was initially said to be ready to arrive in only a few days. As a result, while we were able to get stuff to kill roaches, we could not repel them from our apartment until this stuff arrived. Since it's arrival, diluting it, putting it in a spray bottle & spraying it in areas where roaches would have access to our apartment though we have only seen one of the filthy critters. FAR better than the 14 we saw while awaiting the product. Second of all, unlike Peppermint which lasts 2 weeks when mixed at a ratio of 9 drops to 1 cup of water - Basil should be sprayed weekly as the smell seems to dissipate more quickly. All in all it appears to be working for what we intended it to be used for but the wait could have had dire consequences for our household. Fortunately we went on the attack with Roach Motels (which didn't catch a single one,) Harris Roach Tablets & Combat Max 12 mo. Roach Killing Bait Stations.

J'ai essayé plusieurs marque d'huile et j'adore cette marque. Basilic sent bon, mais ça sent plus la réglisse noir que le Basilic. Je garde quand même la bouteille, parce que mélanger avec la menthe, c est parfait!

I have been bitten twice by a brown recluse spider. The first time I didn’t have this basil oil and tried to use oregano oil instead. It didn’t work and skin started to turn .. so I used lavender oil to stop any further deterioration. It WORKED! Lavender oil actually stops the damage. Went to my doctor on the following Monday, and she told me “whatever you’re doing it worked.. it definitely was a bite”. The second time I was bitten I did have basil oil, used it and it worked great!! I didn’t even need to go to the doctor to get it checked out! I found out spraying the house with peppermint oil sin water will keep spiders out of your house/storage area.

I love these essential oils so much! I use them in my candles and other products. I literally have 7 or 8 of these essential oils on a subscription! That's why I'm sad to see my FAVORITE oil (Bulgarian lavender) is being mixed with the French lavender. I never thought I'd have to find a replacement because this is one of my clients FAVORITES. Please bring back the 4 oz exclusive Bulgarian lavender! 🙏🏾🙏🏾

First, the product did come well packaged and in perfect condition. However, it should be noted that the basil scent is Thai basil and not Italian. Also, if you easily get headaches from strong scents then I recommend that this is not the brand for you. It is STRONG. Do with this review what you will. Not a bad product overall.
