Good soundbar, and a great value.
I wanted to improve the audio quality on our 42" LG C3 OLED TV. Our TV's built-in speakers were OK, but I wanted something with a bit more volume and separation. I had considered getting a decent pair of active bookshelf speakers, but this sound bar cost considerably less than the speakers I was considering, and it seemed to have a lot of features at a low price. I was a bit skeptical, but the Ultimea Poseidon M60 got good reviews on Amazon and YouTube. Also, since it supported connection through eARC HDMI, I thought it would be simpler to set up and configure than bookshelf speakers. In fact, it only took about 5 minutes to set it up and get this soundbar working. The sound quality and separation are considerably better than the TV's internal speakers. My TV automatically detected the sound bar and configured it as the default audio. To test it, I viewed several Dolby Atmos and SurroundSound demos on YouTube and some action scenes from a few movies, and it does a great job for a relatively inexpensive unit. It synchronizes perfectly with the action. There are no delays or lag using eARC. (It probably won't magically fix bad English voiceovers on old Godzilla movies, though!) I haven't tried the smartphone app yet, but it doesn't really seem necessary since all the important controls are available through controls on the sound bar and on the remote. With the eARC HDMI connection, the TV remote pretty much does anything I would want. The sound bar automatically turns on and off with the TV, and the default sound quality is good for movies, voice, and music. Based on my initial tests, you wouldn't even need to fiddle with the controls at all unless you want to also use it as a Bluetooth speaker, or if you want to change the sound profile. I find the default configuration to be reasonably good for any scenario. It just works. (This was important to me, as my wife hates having to mess with a bunch of buttons just to watch a movie.) It may seem obvious, but it's best to center it under the TV. When I initially set it up, I temporarily placed it to the side to make it easier to connect the cables. I found that the surround sound effect is lost if you're seated just a few feet to the left or right of center.

Amazing 7.1 Surround Sound for the Price!
I am honestly impressed with the ULTIMEA Poseidon D70 7.1ch Soundbar system. For the price, this setup delivers performance that feels very close to a real home theater. The sound quality is excellent. Dialogue is clear and crisp, even at lower volumes, and the wireless subwoofer adds deep, powerful bass without being overwhelming. Watching movies and TV shows feels much more immersive thanks to the surround speakers — explosions, music, and background effects truly surround you. Setup was quick and straightforward. Everything connected easily to my TV, and the app control is a great bonus. Being able to adjust sound modes and settings directly from my phone is very convenient. I also appreciate the clean, modern design — it looks great in my living room without taking up too much space. The system gets loud without distortion, and the 410W peak power is more than enough for medium to large rooms. Whether I’m watching movies, sports, or listening to music, the sound remains balanced and rich. Overall, this is an outstanding value for a 7.1 surround sound system. If you want powerful sound, immersive surround effects, and easy setup without spending a fortune, I highly recommend the ULTIMEA Poseidon D70. You won’t be disappointed!

Great purchase
The Ultimea D50 soundbar has been one of my best tech purchases this year. From the moment I unboxed it, setup was effortless — everything connected quickly, and it worked perfectly right out of the box. I didn’t have to spend time troubleshooting or adjusting settings, which is something I really value in home electronics. For the price, the sound quality is outstanding. It delivers clear voices, balanced mids, and solid bass, making movies and music come alive. Whether I’m streaming a show or playing my favorite playlists, the D50 fills the room with rich, dynamic sound that far exceeds my expectations for such a budget-friendly device. Another huge plus is its sleek design, which blends nicely with my TV setup without taking up much space. The remote and Bluetooth connectivity make it convenient to use from anywhere in the room. Considering the combination of cost, ease of setup, and sound performance, the Ultimea D50 offers incredible value. I was so impressed with the first one that I went ahead and bought a second for another room. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their sound without overspending.

Look good sound great wallet happy
In short, a sweet spot of sound, quality, value. Well packed so smooth surfaces all around, though box itself had bumps all over. 5 minutes to set up, as Bluetooth speaker and for TV using eARC HDMI cable. TV sound is as good as can be. Has natural breath and depth and base resonance that TV speakers simply can't match. Even default sound mode good enough, and if matching mode to program like sports, movie, music, it definitely enhances the experience. As Bluetooth HiFi, more than happy as replacement for old 5.1 stereo. From soft jazz to roaring symphony to pounding pop, everything comes across crisp. It's not 100% of a 5.1, but at its compact size and price point, tradeoff is no brainer. App is handy for customization, with lots of options to play around, including various sound profiles. Took time to tune it to my liking, but soundbuff heaven... But 1 star off for missing feature: default Bluetooth HiFi mode, with the sound profile you set, and always on. When TV turns on it goes eARC mode, as should. But when turns off, it should revert back to Bluetooth HiFi mode and never goes off. So can pipe music from phone anytime, without reaching for remote to turn it on or switch to Bluetooth... App could easily add this as an on off option in setup! Hope this review reaches them and see app upgrade soon.

Easy to set up, great sound, and a real bargain
My wife and I are seniors who sometimes have trouble hearing the dialogue while watching TV shows and movies. Some years ago we bought a device that boosted the dialogue as promised, but at the expense of the rest of the sound tracks. Music, especially was muted, which really dampened our enjoyment of movie musicals. Finally, it was apparent that we were ready for newer technology. Prior to making a purchase I read dozens of reviews, watched quite a few Youtube videos, and even used ChatGPT for advice and side by side comparisons of multiple products. After all that, factoring in our budget as well as the features, I settled on the Ultimea 5.1 Channel Surround Sound Bar with Subwoofer. It had so much more than I expected, and the price didn't bust the bank. Even for this old guy, assembly and setup were easy. I just put together the two speakers, plugged the subwoofer into it, plugged the HDMI cable into the ARC port of my television, plugged in the power pack, and I was ready to go. We have an older Sony Bravia television, and I did need to tweak a few settings in the AV area before I got any sound. That only took a minute to locate and adjust. Then I picked a movie online that had both songs and a lot of dialogue to really see if this sound bar could deliver what I was looking for. I was not disappointed. The dialogue came in crisp and easy to understand, and to be honest, was clearer than our previous sound bar system that was designed primarily to boost dialogue. Other things I liked were the fact that the subwoofer didn't overpower the room. I've had home theater systems and found I had to really turn down the subwoofers because the entire household could feel the bass when it came on. I wanted something a little more subtle, and that's what I got. Now I should mention that the Ultimea sound bar has plenty of power, 300 watts worth, but I don't need all of that, at least not unless I decide to throw a dance party. For watching TV it's perfect. Another thing I like is that it comes with lots of pre-sets, but also an equalizer that you can use to fine tune each preset according to your own tastes. While I was watching the movie to test it, I gave it a little more bass, and boosted the mid-range a little, and it was exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be more pleased. Because of the size of my TV's base, I had to elevate it the TV so the new soundbar didn't block the spot where the TV read the remote's signal. Ironically, I'm using the old dialogue enhancing console as a riser. My TV is on a narrow buffet, so in order to have room for the cables in the back of the ULTIMEA sound bar, I had to set it up a little to the right of the old console. However, that didn't affect the great sound produced by the new sound bar, so I'm happy. I did install the app, and plan on exploring all of the other capabilities of this device, including the Bluetooth. I'm going to play music from my phone, and I know from the documentation, I can pull up a visual equalizer if I want to tweak the sound even more. This may be the best keptt secret on Amazon in terms of getting the most "bang for your buck." It's a steal at a little over $120, considering the quality of the soundbar and subwoofer, and all of the technology packed into it, not to mention how easy it is to set up. I readily give it 5 stars for quality, ease of set up, bargain price, and performance.

Great for the price point, a welcome upgrade
I purchased this to replace a soundbar that was well reviewed but I found underwhelming, so it was with nervous concern that I unboxed it. The construction is actually in three pieces, with the bar components locking together with a twist that created a secure join. The third piece, of course, is the passive subwoofer that connects with a coaxial RCA style terminated cable. The materials have a quality feel to them, but not premium. The two mounting points were similar to the unit I removed for a painless installation, and the included screws and mounting (plastic) brackets seem like they would do fine. The unit connection options are solid, and have used three of them. The USB was a trial run before I mounted the bar under the television panel, and it worked well and sounded much better than the previous soundbar. I also tried the optical connection and that was also good. But the connection I'm using is an ARC based HDMI port that works extremely well with this soundbar setup. Here's how I set it up: I plugged it in. That's it, given that I was previously using a soundbar with ARC it dropped right in to the bracket I had previously installed, and immediately gave me better sound than I'd been dealing with. To test, I watched an F1 race and it was highly intelligible and easy to understand the commentators. Overall the audio was good, not perfect, but I'm used to studio monitors and have an ear for audio. For the price point I am delighted with the quality of audio, and the sub provides enough oomph for general movie, video game, and internet sources. The sub will not give you sound like a theater, and the bar won't fool anyone either, but this is many times less expensive than the premium systems. I think this would be a great soundbar for use in apartments, condos, and other multi-family living arrangements because you can enjoy a movie without getting a knock on your door because of the boom boom from the sub. How you find this will depend on what your expectations are, certainly, but audio, in general, has a much higher bar than it did 40, 30, or even 20 years ago. I'm pleased with this purchase. 5/5 stars, would buy again.

Quite amazing, affordable, great 5.1 soundbar!
A surprisingly very good 5.1 soundbar that trounces its competitors in this price range. There are numerous two [2] internal speakers soundbars (even 3), some with and without subwoofers, that claim they reproduce surround and/or Dolby Atmos. Don't believe it. I have tried at least three other name brands and they don't come close. But one has to be realistic. This 5.1 configuration will not reproduce a true "surround" or Dolby Atmos experience. It can't; it's a single speaker unit projecting sound at you. But with five [5] internal speakers, the Poseidon M60 will provide a well-balanced impressive sound stage/experience and really will surprise you when listening to well produced films designed with surround or Dolby Atmos. If space limitations, room size and budget are concerns; you have to give this system serious thought. It comes with a good remote control and a downloadable app which provide great flexibility for you to create the audio experience you'll enjoy. The presets for music, movie, voice are quite good, so there is little need to create your own custom equalization through the app. There is ample volume without cranking it to extremely high levels. The webpage shows a full-size sound bar. Cudos to the engineering/design staff. When you receive the shipping box; you think there has to be something missing; it's a bit larger than the actual subwoofer. But the soundbar is shipped as two [2] halves. It is "assembled" by connecting them with a 45-degree turn. I have never seen anything like it before and was skeptical at first. Blown away when I turned it on and it has performed flawlessly. There are many YouTube audio demos that will assure you this was a great purchase across the board.

The economy sucks, but you shouldn't have to take out a loan to have good sound
Summary: I was not paid in anyway monetarily or through product gifts by this company or any other. These are my true words and opinions. And I standby my title. The next part is probably gonna make me sound like a plant but I just feel strongly about pointing this out as it was a factor in my selection of this product. Our dollar isn't stretching as far as it used to. I'm an IT consultant, and my go to grocery store is Dollar tree. I can get a basket full of groceries for $60. Where the same $60 might get me either two bags of groceries or two bags of household goods. I usually wouldn't be able to get both at the same time. Across the board the economy has all of us looking for more bang for our buck. And this system was able to bring that. Mini speaker systems that have full sound cost a practically one months rent. I am grateful for any company that offers quality at a reasonable price. As someone who just got laid off do to economic uncertainty, I'm very careful with my allocation of dollars. This may not seem like a necessity, my household produces and creates both music and movies. I hunted long and hard to find something that I could justify getting while looking for a new job. I'm very happy with my decision . Pros: - price point - extensive equalizer setting options using remote and 121 EQ presets within the app - one year warranty covering everything up to your general dissatisfaction with the product - lifetime customer service - incredible sound produced from 320 W - Super easy to set up - did I mention the price? - variety of sound system options available should this not meet your needs. Cons: - I was on the fence about ordering from here because this company wasn't very well known to me. But that something to take a great assault considering tons of companies that over the tops and what they produce that I've never heard of. Ultimately they did seem to have enough overall reviews to determine they were real company and the reviews were real. Ultimately, the price point during prime day plus an additional $25 discount with too good to pass up while I was in immediate need for a sound system. That's it. So far that's the only thing I can determine. I haven't played around much with the app but I will update this review should anything uniquely negative or uniquely awesome occurs. If his review is an updated, you can take that as it's working awesome as it has been since day one and I have not had any issues. If it stops working within the next two years I will definitely update but otherwise you can assume it's working and there's no problems. Contain below for additional details! — A while I've only been using these speakers for 24 hours, they are super awesome. I am blown away by the sound that immense from these at this price point. I was previously using a TCL 7+. Which I can report is crap, especially compared to the set up. My 7 + town bar also had a subwoofer but not surround sound speakers. I've had it for five years and two years ago it started having problems connecting, using the arc even with a Quality arc cable. Plus my old TCL soundbar LED lights went out so you never knew if it was actually on or not at times. I was in the market immediately for a new sound bar and subwoofer. I happen to get the bonus of two extra speakers. For less than $100 on prime day plus an additional discount, I am getting well over double wattage at 320W and additional surround sound tweeters. Set up was a breeze. I was worried about the surround sound speakers cause I probably gonna have to run a wire around the room, but it was really simple connected to the subwoofer, and then set them up on either side of the couch. My audiophile music producer/musician boyfriend couldn't stop praising the features, and he hasn't even gotten into the app yet where the available equalizer adjustments are insane with options. We were listening to some of his bands recordings and he was thrilled because finally a system can pick up on all the answers to his production. There are effects and sounds within songs I've listen to for years if not decades that I've heard for the first time running it through the speakers. Really excited to play around with different movies and songs and supporting events. And From what it looks like, you can easily modify it and add additional speakers and even a sound bar. I saw on their website they had a sale where some System set ups would get an extra sound bar. Considering that this is on their lower to mid range options, and the sound that it produces, I can't even imagine the wall a beautiful sound that comes from their higher and systems. But, they're higher in systems are at a price point relative to most mid range. You see that they offer some Lux System options that are well out of my price range but might be suitable for audiophiles with moneybags. They do also Cell projectors of various price ranges and capabilities should you want to truly dive into creating a home theater system. And here's a thing, if you're on the fence the pricing isn't gonna break your bank. Plus they have a year warranty and quite literally it says that it covers unmet expectations. That's pretty subjective to however you feel about the project over the course of first year. Honestly really can't beat that. Additionally there's lifetime customer support, and the also continue to give discounts to previous customers. Finally, if you're still on the fence check out their website and they also have refurbished items. It's not a large inventory, but you can get there $300 surround sound system for $166. The same system on Amazon is around $250-$270, brand new. Moral of the story is I am very impressed so far despite limited use.
