Just what he needed for quick relief...worked wonderfully!

Would be my favorite, or close to it. IF it wasn’t sitting in my sewing pile waiting for me to add more Velcro for a tighter fit. And before you say it, I measured not just once, not just twice, but multiple times before I purchased. I have two others that I use on a DAILY basis. Hopefully, I’ll get this fixed so I have three good options. And have options while they dry after washing.

Perfect comfortable fit

This is not sized well. I used the size guide and ordered the indicated belt which was huge. Got the next size down which is better but the leg straps are sized for a zebra. Way too long and with limited velcro attachment areas mostly worthless.The narrow belt does not tension well thereby offering little support. If I pull very tightly and pull the long leg straps to where they grip, well, let's just say the butt is squeezed in such odd and uncomfortable ways one wouldn't want to wear it for 10 minutes nevermind all day. (Or be seen doing so in snug pants)The extra pad did nothing to help the situation.Very disappointed.

As a 86 year old male with small recurring inguinal hernias, the support reduced my hernias, was comfortable to wear daily, and it was easy to adjust the leg bands and hip band. Also it was washable and dried overnight. The support pads were harsh and uncomfortable and I replaced them with soft, foam pads.

There is a point where the lenth of a rupture permitting intestinal protrusion obviates the stopping power of this device.. Such a condition may be relieved by locating and securing additional padding of effectice size, thickness and sponginess but a successful refinement of alterations can take many weeks of trials but can be done. The sellers should advise buyers of this possibility in their advertising copy. All in all, for an old man accustomed to the conditionality of life, it's better than surgery.
