Walker's Shortbread Traditional Highland Oat Crackers, Scottish Crackers, 9.9 Oz Box

Wonderful biscuit. Can be eaten with savory or sweet. My issue is how Amazon chooses to shop this item. It’s 4 small sleeves inside of a cardboard box. This then is shoved into a plastic mailing envelope. After being subjected to the rigors of shipping, the oatcakes arrive completely smashed and crumbled. The last shipment I received is completely useless to me, because it’s mostly crumbs.

They capture the essence of military ration (MRE) crackers very well. A hint of oat taste is there.

If I bought these at a store, I would have returned them. Unfortunately this is not eligible for return on Amazon so it went straight to the trash bin. If cardboard were a cracker, it would probably be tastier than this product from Walker's. Let them stick with the shortbread.

I trust that Walker's makes a good product. But these are the 1st oat crackers I've ever eaten and they have almost no flavor. I guess oat crackers are not my thing. No fault of Walker's or the seller.

Not a stand alone item. Perhaps slathered in jam it would be tasty.

I first found these oat crackers in a British store in Freeport, Maine while on a visit there. Regretfully, I only purchased one box because they were on the expensive side. I cannot find them in any store in my area so got online and did find them on Amazon, but they are even more expensive. Stores that do carry Walker cookies do not carry these "crackers". They are really wonderful crackers and I assume must be difficult or expensive to make. I eat them as a special treat for myself or special guests. Great with tea.
