Walker's Shortbread Traditional Highland Oat Crackers, Scottish Crackers, 9.9 Oz Box

These are not sweet oatmeal cookies. They are slightly dry and thin biscuits perfect with a bit of strawberry jam or orange marmalade to accompany afternoon tea. Addictive for some; bland for others.

Walker's Shortbread Oat Cakes are excellent with jelly's or jams and a great addition for breakfast or afternoon tea.They are fresh, right size, value for the money, sturdy and good ingredients.

For those who like a slightly savory oat cake, these are very nice. Dense and lots of oat flavor. A little pricey due to new delivery costs added onto the price. Nice to have on hand for cheese and crackers, but there are not enough for more than three people as a snack. Good with cheese.

Wanted to try another brand of oatcake and was hopeful, but Effies brand are far better.

I hate to pay this much, for these, but it's the best price I can find, as an American. We fell in love with these, when visiting Scotland, and they became our go to snack. Great as a cracker topped with meats, as a soup dipper, or just by itself. Think of a cornbread flavor, in a cracker- like form. So good!

The oatcakes themselves are delicious, the best I have ever had (outside of Scotland). 5 Stars. But Amazon ships them in a bag (stead a box), which means that the oatcake box is crushed and the oatcakes themselves partially in smithereens, partially pulverized. And I mean every single cracker. The only way to eat them is with a spoon. Other reviewers have commented on this, but Amazon has not learned. So sad, because I would love to buy these crackers again.

These are versatile crackers. I. even eat them instead of cereal or toast. I've put hummus, Brunschweiger, butter, cheese, and. honey, etc Avacado, banana, egg, ..........

I love these! It’s not easy to find an oat cracker! Very satisfying!
