A good substitute for almond flour
The sunflower seed flour from Think Eat Live is a great alternative to almond flour in recipes using nut flour / grain free. From my perspective it's way better for savory recipes, it makes delicious crispy chaffles and decent crusts on meat and veggies when used to substitute flour or breadcrusts. The flavor is quite neutral, I would actually preferred some of that seedy oily sunflower seed flavor. It doesn't absorb much liquid, so it will require a larger quantity for the perfect results, it's not a 1:1 substitute to almond flour, recipes need to be adjusted. This is not `a little goes a long way` pantry item or cost efficient. The flour didn't clumped, it's medium-fine, doesn't yield a gritty texture in baked goods. The bag isn't resealable, but personally I don't mind since I always transfer nut flours to air-tight containers.

Great for keto
I was surprised to see how many carbs were in coconut flour and almond flour. This is important when every carb counts. And I was looking for a flour I could use for my little granddaughter, who is allergic to both wheat and nuts (both peanuts and tree nuts). I decided to try this after looking at tigernut flour, which is also fairly high in carbs. I made a mug muffin to compare three different flours. The coconut flour muffin was very dry and unpleasant to eat. Almond flour was better but still dry. The sunflour was absolutely perfect, moist and delicious. Since then, I've also used it in keto pancakes. It's delicious but the color is a little off-putting. It turns the pancakes gray, but I can overlook that for the better flavor. Because I use cocoa powder in the mug muffin, it disguises the gray color. To try the experiment yourself, this is the recipe I used for the mug muffin: Melt two Tbsp butter in mug in the microwave Add two rounded teaspoons of cocoa powder, stirring with a fork Add two rounded Tbsp flour of your choice Add one Tbsp swerve or equivalent Add two packets splenda or equivalent Add 1/2 tsp baking soda Add 1/2tsp vanilla Stir with a fork until well incorporated Add one egg, beating with the fork until smooth Cook in microwave on high for 70 seconds Enjoy!

Great flour substitute.
I generally use a lot of nut based flours for my kid who can't have gluten, however, nuts aren't allowed in schools, so I bought this to use. It works perfectly in any recipe I have in place of almond/nut flour. It is a little pricy, but all nut/gluten free flours are. The only downside to this flour is the color. I think it mostly happens when the batter sits longer, but I've found the muffins I made got a weird greenish tint to them sometimes. The flavor is fine, but as some kids are super picky about color and even I found it slightly off putting. However, it was fine. I really think its a reaction to air/liquid though as I made a double batch of muffins, then realized I only had one pan. The first batch looked normal, while they were cooking the batter in the bowl started changing color and the next batch looked a bit different. I find myself reaching for this flour more and more and haven't found a recipe my kids haven't enjoyed with it.

Nice alternative to almond flour
I used it in keto cookies instead of almond flour and it worked great. Not too much difference in taste. Be sure to follow the directions and sub baking powder for baking soda (using baking soda will cause the cookies to turn green on the inside - no difference in taste, just color. This doesn't happen with baking powder).

Nutty Goodness
If your following a Keto lifestyle then your going to love this flour! Whether your whipping up some great Keto brownies, crackers or a scrumptious pizza pie, you will not be disappointed. I love to experiment in the kitchen and was getting tired of almond and coconut flours and decided to try this one. It gives your baked goods a subtle delicious nutty taste which give them the yum factor. It bakes up beautifully and is nutritionally packed with all the good things your body craves. I will definitely be stocking up this gem.

Not Bad
This is an okay product. Not my favorite flavor or texture, but a decent substitute for other flours. However, definitely overpriced.

This is a good substitute for plain white flour.
I gave up gluten years ago and it helped me to keep off 10 pounds so I still am, overall, gluten free and this is a wonderful substitute for regular white flour. I've used it by itself but generally use it combined with a little almond flour and a smidgen of coconut flour to make it last as it's a small bag with an expensive price. That said it has given me moist brownies all by itself as well as moist gingerbread and pumpkin muffins. If it came in bulk I'd happily buy that but as it is it works really well so I pay up for a good product.

Sunflower
Taste like the sunflower seeds, like that taste in my food. It's nice to have an alternative to almond flour on the Keto diet. I will be buying again.
