No it is strictly the cooked boba pearls. Very good and very easy to use. I make a black tea and add taro flavor and drop in the pearls after I heat them up.

Thank you for the questions. Depending on personal preferences, you may adjust the chewiness by increasing or decreasing heating time. We recommend 20 seconds in a 1200w microwave oven. We do have restaurants buying our brown sugar and honey boba pearls for their beverage menu. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
