Polycarbonate is the best; much much better than Acrylic/Plexiglass...
I discovered long ago if you need a ploymer "glass" sheet that can be easily altered in size or needs drilled or a section inside the overall piece removed, plexiglass will be a nightmare, and, by pure luck if you manage to produce an altered sheet of plexiglass, it will be severely compromised and likely to fail soon thereafter.I tried polycarbonate from a hardware store after my frustration with Plexiglass - a small sheet to see how it would perform. To say the least, Ploycarbonate demolishes plexiglass. I've never seen it shatter in a situation where it's being milled to spec. I've used hand drills, put it in a drill press, ground it with a bench grinder, used scoring scribes, hacksaws, a jigsaw to make cuts - I may have jacked a cut, but the integrity of the overall sheet has always maintained.Polycarbonate, as great as it is, is fairly expensive - it's one drawback when it comes to normal, non-exotic projects. Even an 8×10 @1/8" at a big box Hardware store approached $10. The product here is a 12 x 12 x 1/8" Lexan plexiglass for a similar price. You get nearly double the actual square inches of material, a more practical size, for approx the Big Box store's asking price. So polycarbonate, the same as local stores offer, is a good product. Getting any savings on it is generally good given its nominal price locally. This was a major savings and it arrived with free 2-day shipping. I will probably order off Amazon in the future when the need for polycarbonate sheets arises again.

Got the job done!!
I bought this to make a replacement glass for the speedometer on my ‘66 VW Beetle. Cut and shaped it using my tablesaw and a belt sander. Worked like a charm and I still have enough material for other projects.

Just what I needed
Product arrived nicely packaged and in perfect shape. Edges were clean and crisp, sheets were square and not warped, protective plastic was intact. Only reason for 4 stars was that I wanted 8"x8" sheets, so had to cut these down when I received them.

Airsoft Protective Shield - Excellent
Withstood 400FPS from 2 feet repeatedly in automatic and single fire. Used a 2 inch square piece cut with a band saw. A clamp was used to hold the piece and it was shot 30 times without cracking, deforming, or even denting. BB's shatter on impact with it. If you need protective shields for optics or camera gear in an airsoft capacity this material is superb. There is no apparent flex on impact but a small gap between the lens and the sheet would be advised to prevent any energy transfer to the object being protected (glass does not like to flex or absorb energy). Will buy another sheet later. Vastly superior to any product that airsoft websites sell. (Looking at you, evike.come with your shoddy plexiglass sheets that just shatter)

Worked great for my project
I built a Little Free Library for my neighborhood and used this 1/8" Lexan panel in the door. Beautifully clear. I was able to drill the corners for screws. I started with a very small bit and gradually increased to the size I wanted. I was worried it might crack, but it did not. It also cleaned up nicely when I used clear caulk to seal it.

Good lexan
The sheet is good tough Lexan and hard to cut with a scoring tool as expected. I cut and used this sheet to replace bad radio dials on radios I am rebuilding. The sheet is hard to cut by scoring but holds a good edge without cracking. The Lexan takes glue well and can be clamped in place without cracking. I'll buy more.
