I bought these for my husband since he is very active. The shorts fit him well and look great. He uses them in the gym or the pool. He is a stocky athletic guy so they let him breathe and sweat as needed. We call them his shorty shorts. He is 5’8.5” and weighs 220lbs.

This is the perfect length for a young teen boy who isn’t quite as tall as a man yet, but has an athletic build

Runs small in the crotch area. My husband is usually a large and the size chart was correct for his measurements. I ordered a large and as stated, very compressing in the groin area. We exchanged for an extra large and they fit perfect! I’d recommend getting one size up.
