I have always used these Goody barrettes. I have purchased may of these over time. I lose one or both of the pairs and just go get more. They are cheap so I just get more. They also tend to hold my hair in the best out of all the others I have tried. They are metal and are sturdy and durable. I like the more muted colors in these, and I like the variety of sizes and metal colors you get in one pkg you get. I could no longer find these in my local store and I am so glad that Amazon carries them.

Finally! Barrettes I can wear! I have straight, baby fine hair and these work perfectly. Grips hair in place and comfortable.

I was happy to find these classic barrettes. I purchased the set of 4 mock tortoise shell barrettes and they look nice. They are a little difficult to open and close. They hold my thin hair very well, which is always a challenge. As I opened the package I noted a black substance on the underside of each piece. It was powdery and greasy and stained my fingers. I think the black material is used to make the tortoise shell dark coloring. This is a little concerning due to the staining, but my hair is dark so hopefully it will not be a problem. If I order again, I will likely stick with plain metal.

Totally live these original throwback hair clips. They hold perfectly and are very durable.

These are thick and hard which is good but do to tie too many of your hair. Size is smaller than expected. Designs and materials is very good. I do not have thick hair but it did not even work for me. Probably good for children who dont have very thick hair

I like these bar barettes. Wish they had a qty. pack with the slimmer floral ones.

For as long as I can remember, I could go into a local shop and find these barrettes. I was down to only one and was going crazy because I could not find a replacement. I finally thought to check on Amazon and actually found them — the same style and design I have always used. They are the only brand I could say have been consistent with their quality of design, material, style, and price. It’s only a shame that I have to order them from online now!
