Anyone that has ever tried to feed their pets with food from a bag without the assistance of scoops or any other equipment will tell you that comfortable or easy it is not. This is probably the best pet maintenance thing I own. I only have to wrestle with the stupid food bag and child proof ziplock once every few weeks. After its filled all you have to do is pick it up, pour or measure then pour, and put the lid back on!PRO:- Lid has a measuring cup if necessary- Easy to pour contents- Holds quite a bitCON:- I have zero complaints and neither does my catUpdate 8/20/19 - Container is almost two years old and still going strong!

got a couple, for food (harlan teklad lab blocks) and litter (so phresh paper pellets). they're cute and although i expected them to be slightly bigger, they're actually the perfect size to last a while before refilling (and a 5lb lab block bag fits aaaalmost perfectly). they also fit nicely (sideways) on the bottom shelf of my critter nation. the hold at the top is also a great size/height for pouring into my hopper and litter box. theres a bit of and indent on the sides that helps for holding it.the lids aren't super snug, so i dont thing i'd use them for anything i was concerned about getting stale, and it doesn't feel safe to lift them by the lid.

Perfect for a small bag of cat food. I can only fit a 2.5lb bag of food in here which is fine. The lid seals on tight and the container is nice and sturdy. I love the measuring cup that comes on top. We will be ordering more of these to use around the house for rice, sugar, flour etc.

The plastic cap doesn’t stay on securely, which I learned when the cats knocked it on the floor and got extra dinner. Once I moved it out of their reach, there wasn’t an issue, but otherwise, if you’re planning to keep it on the counters or the like, I would get a more secure container.

I don't even know where to begin. This IS NOT A PET FOOD CONTAINER..THIS IS A RICE CONTAINER!. Plus..it is extremely flimsy. Very thin plastic. So much so, that it basically came warped right out of the box. Like something had been sitting on it. Also had some small scratches on it here and there. In order to get the lid on, I had to stretch the container, the opposite direction. Would I purchase this RICE CONTAINER again for a pet food container? No... Do I think this container would work as a rice container, even? Absolutely not! This is something you could find at the Dollar Store.. What a great product! The container itself is made of a sturdy plastic. The size is perfect for keeping near your pet’s food bowl so you can potentially store the huge food bag elsewhere. The measuring cup was a godsend for me. My cat was getting fat because I was just guessing how much to feed her. Now it’s super easy to pop the measuring cup off, pour the right amount, then cover it back up.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the measuring cup is a little hard to read unless you look closely because it doesn’t have colored markings or other ways to distinguish it from the rest of the plastic. Finally, the top does snap on fine, but it does feel a little bit loose. For containers like this, I always love the lid to give a good deal of resistance to being snapped shut so you know the seal is right. The cup also just rests over the pouring spout. It seems to keep the food airtight, but again, I would prefer something with a little more resistance to being set in place for a better seal. The size of the container probably isn’t even worth worrying about this, though, as you’d probably finish off the food inside before air could spoil it.Overall, neither of these flaws have been a problem, just minor nuisances. Highly recommended for conveniently portioning out food if you buy in bulk. The measuring cup is pretty essential for keeping your pet fed the proper amount.

I bought this to keep my dog’s kibbles inside. He’s a 7 lb havanese and his food requirement is about 1 cup a day for the food brand we use. The measuring cup on this container is very easy to use and we refill it about every 2 weeks. I used to have to use my kitchen measuring cup which got tedious but now my dog has his own designated measuring cup which eases the feeding process for us. I don’t know if this container is airtight and I suspect it’s not as good as the oxo brand, but since I’m refilling the kibbles every 2 weeks, it’s really not a problem for short term keep. I would hesitate to use this for any of my baking supplies since it’s probably not as airtight as I would want it for those things.

It's got a great ergonomic shape, easy to grasp with one hand. And I've got small hands. My only criticism -- I wish it was a little bigger. For cats, I think it's really good. But for dogs, other than small dogs, it might not hold enough food. In defense of its size, if it was bigger it might not be so easy to hold on. Trade off, maybe?I recommend it for people with small hands for their cat food. (I bought two, so I don't have to refill as often.)Again, it's a Really Nice container. Really.

Todo iba perfecto, hasta que lo llene.Lo compre porque, el fabricante de la comida para mi mascota ha quitado el cierre hermético de sus sacos y me parece super importante que la comida este bien sellada para su almacenaje, ya que me dura mucho tiempo.Este recipiente me parecio perfecto para solucionar el problema, no solo tiene el cierre hermético si no que, tambien tiene una boquilla para verter y un vaso medidor.La capacidad indicada son 2,5l y los sacos que compro de 1,5kg por lo que, me ha sorprendido mucho ver como el envase quedaba completamente lleno cuando he vaciado en él el saco que tenía YA EMPEZADO, cuando, debería haber sobrado bastante.Por lo demás, es algo muy útil y práctico.

Lo he comprado para ponerle en su platito la comida a mi perrita, obviamente es muy pequeña y come poco, por lo que si lo llenas te dura días y es muy cómodo. No le pongo el máximo porque necesito tiempo para ver si las pestañas no se rompen con el uso

Questo è un'ottimo articolo. Un contenitore praticissimo che mi evita di spargere croccantini dovunque. Ne contiene 1 kg, è salva spazio e non lascia passare nessun odore. Comodissimo, lo ricomprerei mille volte
