Compact, Portable and Powerful ... Excellent for Travel ...
I love my Clarisonic Pro, but at 8 5/8 oz. - including a brush head - and measuring roughly 7 1/2" long and 3 1/4" high, it was a bit larger than desirable for travel. The "Clarisonic Mia FIT, Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush System - 2 Speeds for Gentle and Invigorating Cleansing" was exactly what I needed. It is about 5 3/4 oz., including a brush head, and measures roughly 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" without the brush head. It charged the first time in less than twelve hours and the charge lasted through a two week vacation, using the Clarisonic twice a day. I used the faster speed the entire time and felt it cleansed my skin extremely well. While I took the charger with me, I did not need to use it and will probably leave it at home the next time I travel. Further, my skin stayed much clearer than it has in the past. My only regret is that this unit does not come with a carrying container, but that is not a significant negative.

This item stopped working after 6 weeks!!!
There is not way to give this item a "no star" rating or i would have done that. I have had this unit for 6 weeks and the off/on switch stopped working properly. The unit turns on and off by itself. It turned on in the middle of the night and vibrated itself off the counter and fell on the floor where it continued to vibrate as though it was possessed! Pushing the stop button did not turn it off and it ran until it exhausted the battery. This unit comes with a warranty and I had registered it when I received it. (I heartily recommend that you do this with any appliance) Amazon is sending a replacement despite being beyond the 30 day return window. So I'll report back about this next unit if there is a problem.

Glad Clarisonic is available.
I had another and after years would not hold a charge. Ordered a new one and works great.

I love Clarisonic.
Love everything Clarisonic! I previously had the Mia2. Two of them in fact. They both died after about 1.5 years of consistent use. Clarisonics warranty is bar none so don't stress too much about that. You can easily get a replacement, just be sure to register your product. After the second Mia2 death I went with the fit because it was more compact and had dual cleansing settings. Let me tell you, going compact was genius. It easily fits in a travel makeup bag! The dual settings can't be beat. You've got a standard cleanse or a super-dirty cleanse (aka removing major sweat or makeup at the end of the day). I have acne prone skin courtesy of hormones. Proactive, etc never worked for me. Now I cleanse 2x a day with cetaphil. In the PM I cleanse with the Clarisonic.

Ze Question of Ze Day..... Is it Worth It?????
I'm very impressed with the Clarisonic, but that's no surprise. I had waited a while before purchasing, lusting overing this item, simply because it is so expensive. It definitely is an investment. I cannot speak for the the Mia 1 and Mia 2, but the Mia Fit 2 is glorious. I bought it on Cyber Monday for a substantial discount, and I don't regret it. I appreciate the smaller size, actually. (At first I had wanted to invest in one of the larger ones). Now I see the practicality of the Mia Fit. It is water proof and relatively small, which makes it ideal for travel. How I use it:I will be the first to admit that I am not as consistent in my beauty routine as I should be. Sometimes at night I'm simply too tired to actively wash my face, and I just go to bed. That being said, I don't wear foundation. I remove my eye makeup prior to using this device with makeup removing wipes as well, so I really can't judge on how the Mia Fit 2 performs with makeup removal. What I will do is fill up my sink with hotter water to try and open my pores. I submerge my face. I wet the brush head and put a nickle size amount directly onto the head. Then I will turn it on and begin to wash. The 60 sec feature is great, and there is this buzzing sound every 15 sec, maybe? I use that to determine when it's time to switch zones on my face. The zones I use are: the chin, the two halves of my face under the eye divided by the nose, and the forehead. After the scrubbing, I'll wait a couple minutes, re-submerge my face in the hot water, pat dry, and finish my skin care routine.I'll run the brush head under warm water to remove extra suds, give it a good shake, and pat dry with a towel. So far, I've only charged my device once, and I've been using it at least once a day for a couple weeks. So battery life is quite long.I have yet to use it in the shower or on other parts of my body yet, so I really cannot attest to that aspect. However, I do feel like it's certainly an option; it'd just wear out the brush head sooner. In terms of the cleanser: I'm pleased. I feel like a cleanser is a cleanser for the most part. This one claims to be "radiant". I feel that it's difficult to separate the cleanser from the product and honestly, I wouldn't purchase this cleanser separately. It feels luxurious, smells luxurious. Am I paying for luxury? Indeed I am. Is my skin more radiant? Indeed it is. However, I feel that other cleansers could perform just as well with the Mia Fit 2. I've used a sample Philosophy cleanser that I got from Ulta and it was similar. I will say that it didn't foam up as much. Also, I mentioned that I wait two minutes with the cleanser on my face before rinsing (so as to allow any active ingredients to actually do more than just cleanse) and there was a bit of a tingle. I happen to enjoy that feeling. But there are similar options at a reduced price.So... the question of the day. Is it worth it?????I think, yes. Very very much so. So much so that I am purchasing one for my brother for Christmas. At full price -______- It has simplified the beauty routine, actually. Rather than doing all that manual scrubbing, this is certainly easier. But that alone is not enough to justify spending so much moolah. I have keratosis pilaris on my face and this has made my cheeks so much smoother. Its not visible to the naked eye, but to the touch, improvement is vast. I've also been victim to blackheads on my nose and on my chin. Those are diminishing. I have bumps on my forehead. Not pimples per say, bumps. Gone. Hallelujer. Not saying that I have perfect skin now or that this will be the only thing that you'll need to solve all your skin issues but I will say that for me, it's pretty rad. Ok now that I've written this review, I'm going to go wash my face and get my money's worth out my product.
