Works great on acrylic, aluminium.
If you need to fill in small, engraved areas in metal or acrylic, this is the paint stick to get. It's so much easier than masking and painting, waiting for it to dry, and still having the possibility of the paint rubbing off or cracking in the future. I used Lacquer-Stik on professionally engraved aluminum front-panels, from Front Panel Express and laser-etched acrylic from Ponoko. Using Lacquer-Stik results in bold, beautiful engravings, that painting can't really give you.

Works GREAT, but be careful when removing excess.
This product works very well. I found that the best way to remove excess paint is to use rags made out of old smooth/flat bed sheets. Anything with texture will cause the paint that you want to stay in the grooves to smear. When using a rag made from an old bed sheet, pull it tightly over your fingertip, and then rub off the excess. I used this product on a control panel, and the improvement was remarkable!

Simple and effective!
Does exactly what it needs to do! My only complaint is it doesn’t have a case or cap so it’s bound to be messy. Best to leave it in its original box or find a small container for it.

It doesn’t work
I only gave this 1 STAR because you can’t leave a review without a star.... This DOES NOT work!!! A waste of money because it’s not a returnable item... wow! I bought this to use on engraved cuff bracelets I made to gift for Xmas and I was very disappointed it didn’t work! ZERO STAR

Glad that I bought the set!
My wife and I bought a lot of used furniture to furnish a new house. These have come in VERY handy to touch up the furniture and to make it look like new again. Even though at first glance you THINK that the furniture is all of the same color, when you start touching it up you find out that it isn't. So you need a lot of slightly different colors to match up the finish. The extra colors also lets you match the different color streaks that occur naturally in wood.Seriously, after I touched up the furniture and filled in the scratches and dents, you can't tell that the furniture isn't new! Every home owner or furniture owner should have a set of these on hand.

Another great product
Recommended to me by a friend. I decided to try it and I am impressed by how weasy it is to use. A product that works as advertised ... what more can I say! I use it mainly to fill in the size markings on drill bits. My eyes are getting older and those tiny little numbers are hard to read. But, when they are filled in with this lacquer stick, the contrast makes it easier to read.

The First order Poorly packaged
First order was in an envelop that was crushed and rendered on usable. Contents was a mess. Thried to replace it but website said it was not returnable. I just ordered another one found out it didn’t work in my application anyway. I used a perminent marker in place of the stick. Wasted $15.00
