Do these grow well in a hanging planter?

I have some growing in a 5 gallon wicking bucket and 2 growing in one gallon pots with water trays underneath covered with a plastic bag to keep the mosquitoes out. The stems and fruit are larger in the 5 gallon bucket, so they will grow in a hanging planter, but an upside down one would be better. The stem in the gallon pot are flexible, but the thicker stems in the 5 gallon pot look strained. I have them hanging on strings.

Would these be a good choice for planting in aerogarden?

They get large. 15 ft tall outside its a bush variety but don't let that fool you. Started indoors and had to transplant outdoors. Huge yields. Got a bumper crop last year. I did no pruning at all though. Got over 4ft indoors. So to answer your question depends on how well you keep it pruned unless it's a huge aerogarden setup. Good luck to you.

How many seeds should I plant in one pot indoors?

These large cherry tomato plants grow well in the summer outside and grew to over 6 ft tall. They are an indeterminate tomato which means they just keep growing. They need to be staked, stringed up for support or grown in a double tomato cage. I did get hundreds of cherry tomatoes on three plants that I grew in 3 different 5 gallon buckets in the summer. I suppose you can grow them in a greenhouse indoors all year round depending on where you live. They are larger cherry tomatoes and tasted more like a regular tomato than a sweet cherry tomato and are about an inch in diameter. I start my seeds in the peat pellets with a dome over them and put three seeds in those pods. Or you can plant three seeds in a small pot and then pick out the best ones. I would plant more seeds because you never now how many will germinate. I use seed starter mix to start my tomato seeds with a grow lamp indoors and then transplant them into a bigger container or pot when they grow to about 4 or 5 inches tall and have their true sets of leaves. Tomatoes need a lot of sunlight also. If you want to grow tomatoes in the house I'd try a smaller type plant that is a determinate brand which means they grow to a smaller determined size. That would be a type of patio tomato or one of the miniature tomatoes like Tiny Tim. You would also need a grow lamp to grow them inside and probably a heat mat to germinate the seeds or a window that has at least 6 hours of full sunlight or 8 hrs is better. Tomatoes like a hot environment also and are self-pollinating like peppers. Hope this helps and good luck!
