I bought this for my very young grandson. This is going to be the inexpensive camera he can take to beaches and stuff, as my son is getting him an expensive one. Here is what I told my son after looking it over really well: I didn't expect it to be so nice. This could legit be used as a nice camera, but is inexpensive enough to go to the beach and stuff with you guys. I bought 100% on only 4 factors: Stars, cost, 1080p and 64GB mem. It also comes with an SD to USB converter stick. So, he can download pictures. I'm really impresses a LOT but how nice this thing is for what it cost. Zoom up to 8X from either camera (there is a front and a selfie camera) and a bunch of other little perks to it. It has a very intuitive use and multiple filter options... which were a little annoying to scroll through to see them all, but not to bad. I just didnt expect so much for the cost! The only real potential negative: Anyway... It comes with a mini 64 GB SD card. I have chosen not to install it. It is very easy access and it is the kind you push to both install and eject. His natural curiosity will cause the card to get lost. Therefore, I think you need tell him what it does and how important it is, and then should show him how it is installed and how easy it is to uninstall and loose it. That way he wont be curious. It's very lightweight. Not 100% sure how well it will hold up under any abuse, but the removeable cover does give it a high shock resistance. Plus it is light enough that it wont hit hard if dropped. Perfect for somebody as young as he is.

It's a very nice first camera. I thought it was a good value. I got this as a gift for my grandson and he loved it. It was his favorite gift. He started using it right out of the box and uses it every day. It comes with everything you need including an SD card and charging cable. He plays the games on it when he's not taking pictures or videos. It's really a nice product that's kid safe.

Great little camera for my four-year-old who is really into taking pictures now. One issue we had right from the start is that the SD card provided with the camera was corrupt and nonfunctional. When we would insert it into the camera, the icon for the SD card would remain as if there was no SD card in the camera. This would cause the camera to freeze up and run really slow. I tried reformatting the SD card on my computer and it wouldn’t work on my Windows PC or my MacBook. I replaced the SD card with unknown good one and the camera functions perfectly.

My kid loves it. Takes good pictures and videos. And he likes the games.
