Starting our 5th year with the same brush
We had one of these previously for a few years until one of our teenagers melted it on a hot cast iron skillet. Bought a new one a full 4 years ago and it still works like new. We replace the heads as needed, about once or twice a year. They last a really long time before they get gross even though we hand wash all our dishes and use this every time. We haven't had any problems with leaks. Just don't overfill it and be sure the rubber button is fully seated all the way around.

Worth the price
Item is a little bit pricey, considering what it is… However, this is the best scrubbing brush. It holds a good amount of dish soap, and it also dispenses it effectively… I’ve had other products similar to those, but that do not dispense enough soak, or take several times of pushing down the dispenser button on the handle to try and get some to come out on the other ones, this one is very effective. At first I wasn’t going to Spend this much on a scrubbing brush. However, I had broken the previous one that I had and I am very satisfied and glad I chose. This item would highly recommend it is it’s very durable.

Brush works great, but hard to close the soap dispenser
I have happily used the Dawn sponge brush wand for years but decided to upgrade to the newer brush model. The wand feels good in the hand, and the brush works great. It easily scrubs plates and pans clean where the sponge wand sometimes struggled. You have to press down on the cover's button in order to dispense the soap inside. It dispenses a good amount with one press when you do.The bristles are stiff yet flexible, giving the perfect amount of give and take for cleaning. Be sure to rinse the bristles clean after each use. Although I've rarely found any food get stuck among them, it's better to be safe than sorry. In my experience, any stuck food has easily come clean, but YMMV. I haven't tested it against scrambled egg residue or anything too stubborn. The only problem I've found with this brush wand is the cover where you fill it with soap does not seal easily (unlike the Dawn sponge wand). However, once it snaps shut, it stays shut... but it takes a few tries to properly shut it. This is a disappointing design flaw, and the reason why I'm knocking a star off my rating (from 5 to 4 stars). Other than that minor annoyance, it's a brilliant design and I'm glad I upgraded.UPDATE (September 4, 2024): About a week after I posted my original review, I noticed a slight soap leak from the brush. It's happened a couple times now even though I've been careful to snap the seal shut each time I refill the soap. So make of that what you will.UPDATE (September 21, 2024): Haven't had the leak since posting the last update. Maybe I got careless snapping it shut a few times? Anyway, the brush is still holding up well and is a joy to use (just not to refill).

LEAKS - LEAKS - LEAKS Hard to believe this is an "authentic" Proctor and Gamble/Dawn product
LEAKS - LEAKS - LEAKS - NOT THE SAME QUALITY - I would give this zero stars or negative stars if possible. I originally purchased two brushes in approx 2008/2009 from the grocery store but they stopped carrying them. The original purchase lasted several years and still functioned properly but were getting a bit dingy looking in the kitchen sinks so I re-purposed them to the outdoor sinks when I found and purchased them from Amazon in 2013. These were great, same quality as the earlier products and loved the added bonus of replaceable brush heads. This set too were getting bit dingy so I re-purposed those and threw the first pair in the trash and re-ordered again in 2017, WHAT A DISAPPOINMENT!!! I wish I could have pulled the old pair from the trash - they are far better that the new set.Filled with Dawn dish washing liquid, leaked out overnight, refilled again, thinking I had not replaced the handle plug properly but leaked immediately. Also, noted the bristles in the brush heads and replacement brushes are flimsy and the packaging looks very different from my previous purchases (would love to know who the manufacturer is and if these are authentic PG products or possible counterfeit) ????

Decent
I got this brush because I thought it would be nice to have a brush with soap in it that does not leak. Another brush I had from Dawn was marketed as one that doesn't leak and yet this one still leaks but less than my other brush. If you are looking for a decent brush to wash dishes with, this will do. I really like putting soap in the brush instead of the sink. I feel like it saves soap. However, I am not a big fan of the brush leaking soap all over the counter from the button in the middle. The button has a rubber piece over top and a small lip to fit inside the brush. That lip is the only thing keeping the soap in the brush and it does not do a great job.

Lasts FOR. EV. ERRRR.
I just bought one to replace the one I have after maybe 5+ years, not because mine is unusable, but because it's just getting a bit beat up and I'm afraid they'll stop selling this lol. When have you ever known a fillable dish brush to last so long? Get this one and save the landfills from millions of bunk dish brushes that don't hold up. I love this thing. Refills are super reasonable too. Dawn, PLEASE DON'T STOP MAKING THESE!!!

Very durable and surprisingly useful
Very handy for just washing a couple of dishes instead of running the dishwasher all the time. Bristles are very durable and have good resistance to hot water. Easy to fill and use. 5 stars.
