VacuMaid GV30PRO Wall Mounted Garage and Car Shop Vacuum Cleaner with 30 ft. Hose, Tools, and 7 Gallon Bag

I needed a vacuum cleaner in my garage for vacuuming the floor and my workbench area. I researched many different systems before settling on this one, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. It has become truly indispensable: aside from using it for the garage floor and workbench, my wife and I use it all the time to vacuum our cars. Here are some of the reasons I'm so happy with this vacuum: 1) Great suction power. It has no trouble getting up dirt and debris, whether around the garage or inside our cars. 2) Includes many different attachments (see photo). The brush attachment works great in our cars, and the long pointy one is nice for tight spaces. 3) Can also be used as a blower. This is HUGE -- I use it to blow out our garage all the time. Obviously it’s not as powerful as a dedicated leaf blower, but it has plenty of heft for those periodic garage cleanings, plus it’s super convenient. Just connect the hose to the “out” port on the vacuum instead of the “in” port, plug the spacer into the “in” port, and you’re all set. I probably use this for blowing out my garage just as often as I use it for vacuuming. 4) The PRO version has a metal wand for the attachments. The wand has a hefty feel to it and has shown no signs of wear even after being bumped against all sorts of things. 5) Mounts easily to a wall. Just attach the included bracket to a stud and hang the vacuum on it. Couldn’t be easier. Includes a hose mount and an accessory bag for the attachments. A few tips: This first one may be obvious, but to decide whether you need the 30’ or the 50’ hose use a measuring tape to measure the distance from your intended mounting location to all the places you want to be able to reach with the vacuum. I have a three-car garage and the 30’ hose gives me plenty of length (I mounted the vacuum in the center of my garage). Second, make sure there is a grounded outlet nearby -- the cord on this thing is only 6’ long. Third, buy a hook so you can hang the included accessory bag on the wall near the vacuum, and then you’ll have all the attachments right there when you need them. I can’t stress enough how convenient it is having a vacuum cleaner AND blower in our garage, and we couldn’t be happier with this unit. And made in the USA to boot! Highly recommended.

So glad I spent the extra money to get such a quality, professional wall mounted vacuum, and it is American made. This is just like the vacuums at the car wash, only smaller and quieter, and clean!. The 30’ hose works for our three car garage and it is easy to mount, has an isolated wall bracket and a super quality 30’ hose. The pro model Comes with real attachments and stainless handle and wand. Even my wife loves it. Now, we just pick up hose and flip the switch and cars are easy to clean. This is super quiet too.

Good overall vac. Good suction, and I appreciate the ability to adjust suction on the wand. Adequate attachments. I wish there was a turbo nozzle attachment for it as I'm used to using a powerhead in my garage. Mine came with a few small dents in the lower outer housing, I'm hoping nothing that will affect performance. I noticed the bottom gets quite hot when running for a short time. Hoping it lasts a long time.

I'm not often blown away by a product, but I gotta say that this vacuum just blows me away. I ordered it for my basement woodworking shop because despite having good quality dust collectors attached to my tools, you just can't capture it all. I've been using a decent shop vac for the floors and everything else that ultimately gets fine sawdust on it. Still, the hose, and attachments are so low end that shop vacs are very loud and very frustrating to use. After researching available options, I decided on the Vacu-Maid. It arrived today and after an easy set up and wall mounting I'm convinced that this is the shop vacuum I've always wished I had. First, it's quiet; way quieter than a shop vac. Second, the suction is amazing; no BS, this thing really sucks. I bought the 30 foot hose and was a little worried about suction loss with a long hose but its just awesome. Finally, the attachments are top notch. The expanding wand works perfectly and each attachment is well made. Bottom line: It does everything they promise.

Feels like a solid product. I gave it a quick test and was pleased with the power it had. One main reason I purchased this was to use the telescoping handle for my garage floors. When I opened the box everything was there except the telescoping handle. I was extremely disappointed. Don't buy unless you like missing parts.

I ordered this to save some floor space in our garage and get rid of an aging Rigid vacuum which had a too short power cord and hose. This unit is quality all the way through. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I mounted it on a wall in the center of our 3 car garage and it can reach every part of the garage with the 30' hose with ease. There are little details which might not be obvious which makes this a fantastic vacuum. First, with the pro version I got, it comes with a complete set of attachments and a nylon mesh bag to store them in. Also, as other have noted, the wand is metal. I don't think anyone else has commented that it telescopes with a ratcheting mechanism so you only have a short piece of tube to store. The attachments are all high quality, actually have hair bristles which are soft for use inside the car. The power this thing has for a 30' hose is unbelievable. It is very strong, I have some pretty exotic vacuums other places in the house, to include a Festool unit. This thing tops them all for suction power. If you have read reviews which have you questioning buying this until, ignore them and pull the trigger. You will be impressed and as happy as I am after it arrives. If Vacumaid reads these reviews, a few things that I think could be improved to make this vacuum an even better value: 1) Provide a hanging hook on the side of the canister to hold the bag of implements. 2) Provide a spring clip on the side of the canister to hold the metal wand
