Pinkhouse Girls' Maxi Dress with Self Braid Strap

We bought these dresses to take family photos on the beach. The color online is a little darker than it is in person. We were hoping to match them with my navy blue dress, but the blues were different. Online it appears navy, but it's a much brighter blue in person. The color is still very nice though.My girls said they were comfortable. The fabric isn't real soft like a Nicci skirt. It reminds me of polyester that sometimes pajamas are made from. The dress is also a little thin, but not too thin that it's see through.As for the fit, I ordered true to size for my girls. The straps were a little long and made the dresses hang too low. I just ripped out the seam and re sewed the straps in the back. Now they fit perfect! Overall, it's a nice dress for the price.

Straps are too long, my daughter will have to wear a top under it, but for the price I'm going to keep it. Nice, soft material.

Update - it's been almost 3 years now and my daughter still loves and wears this dress. It has held up well through many wears and washes, including trips through the dryer. Highly recommend.Very cute dress. My daughter is on a huge dress kick right now, and she changes them 4x a day. I bought this in 2 colors and we love them both. They did run a bit big. I dried them on high which helped a little, but not a lot. Oh well, she'll just have them even longer.Note: Like many people, I rely heavily on Amazon reviews before making almost any purchase, online or in brick-and-mortar stores. The dress is cute but is very narrow, and the material is thin and see through. It could work as a cover up but not a dress.

It fits my daughter perfectly. She is very picky about how things feel on her and she loves this dress. Super comfy and pretty.

It has already came unsewn at the braid.

Super cute and super bright..just a little thin, can see underpants through. No biggie for us, b/c I make my daughter always wear biker shorts under. But, still would prefer material to be a little less see through.

I purchased this for my preteen. It’s super cute and age appropriate. I love the black and white braided straps on the back of the cover up. She’s not overly tall so it hits her mid calf level. She wears a 14 in Big Girls so I ordered her a size Large. The material is really soft and lightweight. It is a true black color. The quality is great, as well as the price. Very happy.
