I thought I was buying MaryRuth's formula when I purchased this. It's in the same packaging, same color and only a couple dollars cheaper than MaryRuth!!! I would have never purchased this brand because it doesn't have clinical backing and brand reputation that I rely on. The worst part is that it is none refundable so I can't get my money back. Buyers beware!! Don't make the same mistake I made!! In this economy I can't take a $30 loss but I'm scared to take it. OMG!!

Value for money with the define hair growth and thickness

Biotin supplements have reliably made my hair grow faster, thicker, and fuller when I consistently take them. I came across this liquid multivitamin with a focus on hair growth, and the Amazon Vine Program kindly sent me a product sample for review. This is the liquid multivitamin supplement by "iFitKeep," 15.22 fluid ounces of a multivitamin-loaded, peach-mango flavored, orange syrup. It has a serving size of 2 tablespoons or 30mL, the same adult dosage amount as you'd take for cough syrup. It indeed has a peach-mango flavor and smell, but I prefer to add it to some fruit juice I usually drink in the morning. The serving size suggests 15 doses, which is about half a month of daily supply. When you look on the supplement facts label, you'll find that it has nearly every vitamin and mineral under the sun listed. You'll especially find a whopping 10,000mcg (33,333% DV) of biotin with every dose. Over time, I've noticed that my hair and nails indeed grow faster with daily dosage, so it has been effective for that. I feel that the multivitamin dose helps make up for the lack of nutrients from my usual diet, and keeps me vaguely feeling healthy! It would have helped if they included a plastic measuring cup like companies do with cough syrup. Naturally you may think you use the cap, however it doesn't seem to be an appropriate measuring cup, and I'm not sure it even amounts to 30mL anyway. There's a loose sealing wafer/pad that'll fall out, and the product will leak through (and make the whole bottle sticky) if you don't rinse it thoroughly. The directions on the bottle don't mention how exactly you're supposed measure the dosage, so you're left to your own devices. You're either borrowing a cough syrup cup, doing two general spoonfuls, or just eyeballing it as you pour a "dash" of it to your drink (which is what I've been doing). I'd be worried about overdosing on certain vitamins, but it seems for me I've been dosing about half the recommended amount because it's been lasting over a month for me. This syrup is quite sweet, and if you are sensitive to sugar and/or mindful of your blood sugar levels, you may want to reconsider dry pill biotin supplements instead. With the sugar content, it's also important to keep this refrigerated, otherwise it may go bad rather fast. You never want to leave sweet stuff unrefrigerated. Priced around $30 for a 15-day multivitamin supplement with an added focus on biotin, it's a bit on the high side as far as supplements go. You're buying this at a premium because it's in fruit-flavored liquid syrup form, and may be more convenient than the conventional capsules/pills. With the lack of measuring devices included with this order, you may end up with a supply longer or shorter than 15 days worth. Regardless, it's been effective!
