Great quality
The item was in great condition. The item matched the description. The item met my expectations. Overall I am happy with my purchase. This is actually top soil unlike the stuff they sell at big box 📦 stores

Excellent top soil!
Was way better than i expected! Soft, no clumps, easy to work with, good deep color. For the money id buy this again in a heartbeat. I used 2 40 lb bags to plant 14 quart sized plants, if that helps.

Decent Potting Soil
This is OK. It DOES have a lot of sticks several inches long, though. One bag only filled two 5-pound grow bags, so be aware that there isn't all that much soil in this bag. I am buying it again since it works for me.

Fertile topsoil
I was able to fill a large hole by the back deck with both of the bags. Nice dark topsoil. Already have clover growing in the filled in hole.

A Bag of Soil and a Lesson Learned
Once upon a time, a gardener with a 1999 two-door sports car faced a dilemma: a car built for speed, not for soil. Hauling heavy bags of dirt from the store? Not happening. So when Amazon offered top soil delivered to the doorstep with Prime? It felt like a small, earthy miracle. The bag arrived spotless—no tears, no leaks, no weird smells. The soil went straight into containers, and over the next few weeks, the plants seemed content. No complaints, no drama. Mission accomplished. But the plot thickened. Just a few weeks later, while casually scrolling the Lowe’s website, the gardener stumbled upon a massive top soil sale—$2 for a 40 lb bag, plus same-day delivery. And since enough bags were ordered, delivery was free. Cue the internal facepalm. The Amazon soil? Still doing its job. But suddenly it felt like paying for VIP seats at a concert, only to find out general admission had the same view—and free snacks. Rating: ★★★☆☆ Good in a pinch. Solid quality. But with better, cheaper options that also deliver fast? Lesson learned: convenience isn’t always a good deal. Sometimes, you just have to dig a little deeper.
