Works good for drainage my feild tile Definitely will not purchase again, bought 3 of these 1 lasted a year 2 of them lasted less then a day

We are using this to transfer water from our creak to our freshwater pond, and it has done an amazing job at helping keep the water level up through this very dry summer we have had. I am supper happy with how well it runs. It does need full sunlight to run but when it does it keeps the perfect flow going to give our fish a little extra water.

I received this Pump. It runs amazingly hooked up to a battery, but it will not run off of a 300 W solar panel, but it says it will run off of it.

This may be an ok product, but it is not a brushless motor as advertised and some of the design details give me pause. It is a standard air-cooled brush motor in a can. I don't see it lasting very long given that there isn't a direct method of cooling the motor. I think the design is trusting that the motor will move some air around in the can and that it will be cooled by the outer shell. I also didn't see any method of dealing with water seepage past the shaft seal. Real submersible pumps have direct liquid contact with the motor case for cooling and a double shaft seal system with an oil chamber to keep water out of the electrical components. I returned it as I wasn't willing to invest in setting up a system based on a pump that I suspected wasn't going to last.

awesome little 300 watt pump

I am using this pump to transfer water from a 150 gallon tank in my Truck, to a 1500 gallon tank in my yard, for my off grid project. It is taking about 20 minutes to transfer 150 gallons thru a garden hose at a distance of 100 feet and about 5 feet elevation. So I am happy with it so far.
