Solid Quality
Has held up well to use a few times a week over many months now. No real complaints.

Quality roller ... wish the handles were a bit longer.
The media could not be loaded. For those who don't want to watch my video ... I will summarize my findings in using this Adidas Ab Roller ... it's tough! The first time I tried rolling in a pushup position, I thought I would tear a muscle. I supported myself on my knees and rolling and it was still very hard and felt like something could rip. After a while, I started to get the hang of it. The next day I expected to be very sore but thankfully, I wasn't. My technique may be off and this will require some practice. This is easy enough to use and many personal trainers recommend this. It's a LOT easier to do if you are slender and on the small side. I'm a former football player and weigh 230 lbs. at 6 foot 3 inches tall ... so rolling that type of frame isn't easy. My hands just about fit the handles, which measure 4.5 inches each. The handles have a hard foam grip, which may cause fatigue after a while, which is why I wear gloves when doing this. The actual wheel is only 2 inches across. (18 cm) This adds a little challenge keeping it stable. The worst part about this product is putting it together. It comes in 3 parts ... the long handle, the wheel and a foam grip which must be slid onto the metal bar after the wheel is placed on it. This seems easy but it took a long time of twisting and turning the grip to get it fully onto the bar. This was an exercise in itself. Once its on, its not going anywhere!Packing this in a suitcase or bag could be hard because once you get that grip on, it's there. This is a great product for hotel rooms where you don't want to touch your hands on a filthy carpet while doing push-ups. Its also good for the office. Something you may consider is this may be a good pre or post workout tool to use to roll out your muscles as an alternative to a foam roller. It feels good on the legs and if someone else rolls out your back and shoulders.Keep in mind that the wheel is made of hard rubber and it will leave marks on hardwood floors. Especially ones with a shine to them. This will likely buff out but be cautious. I do like the Adidas branding on the ends with red caps and white logos and the grips feature the Adidas 3 stripe as well. I'd always go name brand with fitness equipment, even though this was made in China.Happy rolling and please remember to click the helpful button if this review helped you to decide to buy this product, or not buy this product.

Must use soap
The Adidas ab wheel works well on carpet. The width of the wheel itself is thick which makes it easier to balance. I used it for three days with the foam grip barely on because it was a real struggle to install. However, the wheel without a border on one side to hold it in place was not an ideal setup. I was able to get the grip all the way on in less than a minute thanks to the advice of another reviewer suggesting soap and water. My first attempt was to add soapy water to the pole itself but that did not work. Wet the foam grip with water and then apply hand soap with a finger to the inside of the grip and it should slide right on. I rinsed the suds off and left the wheel to drip dry in my sink for a couple of days before I put the Adidas cap on the end of the pole. The ab wheel is much easier to use with both grips! Other than the difficulty getting the hand grip onto the pole, the ab wheel is very easy to use and fairly priced at $12.99.

Grippy tire, lightweight, excellent workout
Didn't know what to expect, but I knew I could trust a brand like Adidas. It comes with instructions to put the chrome or stainless steel metal bar thought the plastic wheel and put on the foam grip to hold it in place. I have to say it was not easy to do that so I learned many years ago through mountain biking to put some soapy water on the bar and wala! It slid on easily. The Ab wheel is light weight, but made from hefty plastic and well built. No rough edges and all smooth. The tire is grippy so it works on carpet, tile and hardwood floors no problem. All of them tested, but I believe carpet works best because your knees are on something soft. If using on tiles don't use a towel your knees will just slide away, but use something like a yoga mat and it would work. I can definitely feel muscles being worked out in my upper breast, ab, and thighs. A well received product glad I got it.

Basic and highly functional
I prefer very simple home exercise equipment. Whenever I shop for gear, I can see that a lot of sellers are interested in over-engineering their equipment so it looks fancy and commands a higher price — yet rarely does that "enhancement" actually make the product more useful or effective. So, for me, this very simple ab wheel fits the bill perfectly. It's compact, affordable, and reliable. As other reviewers have mentioned, the ab wheel comes disassembled, so you have to put the pole through the wheel and then slide on the 2nd hand grip. Doing this is a minor pain that probably took me 2 or 3 minutes of effort at wiggling that grip onto the bar. Not exactly fun, but also not a big deal considering you'll never have to think about it again after that first setup.I'm glad to add this to my home exercise equipment, and I expect a long and ab-burning relationship together.

Does the Job, If You Can Get It Set Up
This wheel was similar to other in-store-bought wheels I have had in the past, aside from the required assembly. The rod came with one foam handle already installed on it, and the rest of it exposed for the user to slide, first, the wheel on, and then the other foam handle to secure the wheel in the middle. My issue, however, was securing the final foam piece on the end of the metal rod, as there was so much resistance that I was only able to slide it 1/3 of the way on (see photo). Aside from this assembly hiccup, I imagine that the wheel will work just fine as it is a pretty standard ab wheel. Once I get the strength to slide the foam all the way on, I am sure it'll be a great piece of equipment to add to my workout routine!

Great quality
The media could not be loaded. This is really durable and great quality. It’s does an excellent job engaging core. I had a baby one year ago and got this to try and get some strength back and it is really challenging in a good way. Every day it gets easier though; way better than doing crunches and works upper and lower abdominals :)The one downside is how difficult it was to put the handle grips on. It took some time because it was a tight fit; no issues since then though!
