Was given this Breyer “Harley” figurine for my Birthday inOctober, & I love it!( thanks hubby!). Mine arrived in excellent condition, in it’s original box.I watch horse racing on America’s Best Racing which features Churchill Downs & Keenland race tracks among others. “Harley” is one of the lead “ponies” that brings the horses onto the track before each race at both of these tracks. I noticed him right away, (who couldn’t, he’s gorgeous & huge!) & have wondered what breed he is, when this past summer one of the analysts on the show, former champion jockey, Richard Migleorey,(sp?), aka “The Mig” was wondering the same thing. Thanks to Facebook he was told Harley is an American Sugarbush Harlequin Draft, a cross between an Appaloosa & a Percheron. When I heard that he has his own Breyer figure, I just had to ask for one. He is one of the most requested lead ponies at both places, & I look for him every time those two tracks are featured. I would highly recommend this figure for youth & adult horse lovers alike.

NICE
Wonderful tribute to the Track (NOT tack) Pony so outstanding at Kentucky Derby and other tracks. As a horse lover since childhood, I enjoy watching the track ponies as much as the races themselves. "Harley" is very realistic and nicely done. Only one slight problem - a little unbalanced so have to be careful how you stand him on a flat surface. Understand this has been a problem with Breyer draft models. At any rate, a worthwhile addition to any Breyer collection.

Loved seeing this guy at the derby so I bought the model. I have to put things under is legs to keep him from falling over though...

Breyer quality
I collect horse figures and this one is a very nice replica of a living, working horse. Breyer tells the story of the model on the box, saying what he does for his work. It’s a beautiful replica and I have always loved Breyer models for their realistic appearance
