This is a replacement for an old Sony sound system that tore up. Since I already had speaker wires ran this was a breeze to set up. And it sounds great! It was packaged really well, and even though the box took some damage in shipping, the system didn't. The whole system feels well built. Yes, I would recommend it.

Slight Bias up front. Yamaha has always been an excellent Surround system. The quality is impeccable, and the sound is always on point. The only issue I am running into is that halfway through a movie, it just shuts down. I ensured it had plenty of air and changed the speaker's hertz to match. Check the speaker wire crossing and connections, as they don't make sense.

Haven’t had the chance to listen full blast yet but the equipment was easy to set up. But make sure your speaker wire connections are hooked up properly. Very happy with the seller. Very satisfied! Update: Now having listened full blast all I can say is WOW!!!! I always test with the opening of Close Encounters and was not disappointed!!
