They work fine

I was about to bin my Scala Q3 because the sound was never good. The standard speakers were too small. I took a chance and bought these upgraded speakers and it made a huge difference.

I had that spare full-face enduro helmet that came with my XR250 Tornado. I liked the shape and comfort of it but had installed the Cardo communication system I had on the modular helmet I use most of the time. Since I had already a spare Cardo cradle and microphone, I procured this speaker set and went into carving mode in said enduro helmet. They work even better than the ones that came with the original Cardo kit. The sound is loud and cristal clear. Installation was as easy as possible considering a few defects of the helmet itself, and gave me a chance to identified said defects and fix them. I did have to carve out both the ear wells and the volume for the connector to the Cardo cradle but the result is excellent and I will trust that helmet in case of a crash. I also routed the wire between the ears in a groove I carved that passes over my head so that the radio reception would be correct. It seems to work OK. I can now switch between helmets just by popping the Cardo receptor itself from one cradle on one helmet and plopping it into the cradle on the other.

Not very load. Slightly thinner then other brands.

these work much better than the original speakers that came with my intercoms. You could barely hear the originals when turned up all the way. With these, 3/4 volume is plenty loud.

Have for years ! Don’t need to try any other
