Live At The Greek Theater

This is visually a fun-looking concert, but as a more casual fan of the band's music I don't think this was exactly for me in terms of the audio. The Celtic flavour comes through great, but the more punk/rock side of these songs comes out a lot better in their studio versions. I'd probably do a split rating if I could - 3 stars for more casual fans and 4 stars for diehards.

This package of the bands live performance at the Greek Theatre is an absolute great way to enjoy their live show when they aren't in town. I also believe that this is a great introduction for people who aren't yet fans because they can see what a live show is like and get 22 songs compared to a regular show mind you I'm not sure how long a Flogging Molly live show is but I don't think it's 90 minutes long I think the last show I was at was perhaps 60 minutes at the most. If I am wrong forgive me it's been literally years since I seen Flogging Molly live. But if your on the fence about purchasing this outstanding 2 disc live cd/dvd then let me help you. This is for anyone who wants great irish music with a special kind of energy that you'll only get from this band take my word this is a keeper! And if Flogging Molly decide to make another live cd/dvd I will be buying that as well! I love love love love this band!

Seeing them live six or seven times now, it was fun to experience it without having to stand in ankle-deep puddles of beer (also, spit and blood, on occasion). Flogging Molly is one of the most consummate and active live acts in recent memory, and their live set, though often similar from night to night, never fails. Dave King's ability to blend musical ingenuity with a natural wit and charm of delivery makes the songs feel like a whole new experience, despite the fact that musically, they sound very similar due to the band's tireless dedication and synchronicity.

I saw Flogging Molly live a few weeks ago in Buffalo, NY. They were great live and I wanted a collection to become more familiar with their songs. What a deal this is ! 2 Live cd's alone are worth the $10.50 but throw in a high quality DVD of them live plus a bunch of videos and you have a real deal.The music is loud rocking and rhythmic. This is one of the better offerings in the Irish/punk genre.I'm new to Flogging Molly but I like what I've seen so far. I have hundreds of live music samplings from other artists, so I feel qualified to spot a good product when I see one. This is good stuff.

I saw them in Feb at the House of Blues and they sound as good as they do on their albums. This helps you to feel (if you are not able to attend) like your at the show. If your an avid FM fan, buy this CD/DVD. support a Band that does what they want to do, make music, and have fun with their fans! i only hope that one day they are able to just have a huge cd/dvd with EVERY song because there are to many songs that are amazing that don't appear on this album. But this is Definitely an amazing mix of old and new songs by the band.

If you are a fan or just curious about Flogging Molly's musical style this is the ultimate album. Having seen them live multiple times the live CD is my first choice. The energy they send out to the audience is nothing short of incredible.

Flogging Molly has always been a band that, although their albums are great, to truly get the experiance you had to see them live. This album/dvd is a great chance to do so, since it's one whole concert, not like alot of bands do for a live cd/dvd and take one song from this show one song from that show. Truly worth the coin!

outstanding live cd, great value.the dvd has tons of surprises too with all the video singles to date plus highlights from the cd. one down side is the greek theatre itself,nearly all seater venue that kills the atmosphere of the gig,although the gig is good and the picture and sound quality is outstanding. if you like flogging molly you will be happy with this,i give it 5/5 easy.
