A Must-Have for Cocktail Lovers and Dessert Enthusiasts!
I recently purchased Luxardo Maraschino Cherries (400g / 14.1 oz) and they have quickly become a staple in my kitchen and bar. These cherries are absolutely exceptional in every way and truly elevate cocktails, desserts, and even fruit salads to the next level. First, the taste is out of this world. Unlike the overly sweet and artificial maraschino cherries you might find at the grocery store, Luxardo cherries are rich, tangy, and complex, with a subtle hint of almond from the maraschino liqueur they’re soaked in. The balance between sweetness and tartness is perfect, making them a delicious addition to cocktails like Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, or a classic Cherry Brandy. They’re not just for drinks either – I’ve used them as a garnish on cakes and ice cream, and they add a unique burst of flavor that’s simply unmatched by other brands. The quality of the cherries themselves is fantastic. Each cherry is plump, juicy, and firm, without being mushy or overly processed. They hold up well in drinks, maintaining their texture even after sitting in liquid for a while. The syrup they come in is thick, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which allows you to control how much sweetness you want to add to your creations. I also appreciate the presentation—the cherries come in a sturdy glass jar, which not only looks elegant but also keeps them fresh and properly preserved. Overall, the Luxardo Maraschino Cherries are worth every penny. They’re a premium product that truly shines in terms of flavor, quality, and versatility. If you enjoy crafting cocktails, making gourmet desserts, or simply indulging in high-quality cherries, I highly recommend these. They’re a treat you’ll keep coming back to!

The Gold Standard of Cocktail Cherries – Absolutely Delicious!
If you’ve only ever had the bright red, syrupy maraschino cherries from the supermarket, you’re in for a game-changing experience with Luxardo Maraschino Cherries. These are the real deal—rich, dark, and bursting with deep cherry flavor. The texture is firm and luscious, not mushy like cheaper alternatives. The syrup is thick, luxurious, and packed with natural cherry essence, adding an incredible depth of flavor to cocktails. Whether I’m making an Old Fashioned, a Manhattan, or even a simple whiskey sour, these cherries elevate every drink to bar-quality perfection. They’re also amazing for desserts—I’ve used them to top ice cream, cheesecakes, and even pancakes. The jar lasts a long time, as you only need one or two per drink or dessert, making them worth every penny. If you’re serious about cocktails or just love high-quality garnishes, Luxardo Maraschino Cherries are a must-have. Once you try them, you’ll never go back to the cheap stuff!

Delicious, quality cherries
These are the best maraschino cherries available in my opinion. I use them in drinks and also put them on top of trifles. Well worth the money.

These are the best
These are probably the best cherries around. I love to make cocktails and these are a must. They are deep coloured red and taste amazing. When you've finished the cherries, keep hold of the jar and juice for later use. The juice is very syrupy and is great poured into procecco or over ice cream or yoghurt. It goes a long way. Once you've tried these you will never again buy those pink looking cherries you see in supermarkets or pubs.

Really tasty
These are really tasty and go great in an old fashioned. Just a little pricey for the size of jar

If you've ever wondered what pure, unadulterated luxury tastes like, it’s in the form of a Luxardo cherry. These little gems are nothing short of magical, turning any drink—or dessert—into an experience that feels like an upgrade. The Taste First off, let’s talk about flavor. Luxardo cherries are a sweet, syrupy delight, but they’re not cloying. The deep, rich cherry flavor is balanced with just the right amount of tartness, creating a complexity that’s rare in your average maraschino cherry. They have this almost boozy undertone, thanks to their infusion in cherry liqueur, giving them a grown-up charm that makes every sip feel like an event. The Texture It’s not just about the taste—these cherries also have the perfect texture. Firm yet yielding, they’re the kind of fruit that almost feels like it’s been handpicked just for you. There’s none of that weird mushiness you sometimes get with lesser cherries, just a satisfying pop when you bite in. Versatility Sure, you can throw them into a classic cocktail like a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned (and they’ll make your drink look way fancier). But don’t stop there—these cherries are as magical in a sundae, a fruit salad, or even on their own as a sweet treat. The syrup is equally enchanting and can be used in cocktails, drizzled over ice cream, or just spooned straight into your mouth if you're feeling bold. The Experience Opening a jar of Luxardo cherries feels like cracking open a treasure chest—like you’re about to enjoy something rare and special. They elevate everything they touch, turning an ordinary cocktail hour into a celebratory event. Verdict: Luxardo cherries are the culinary equivalent of adding a touch of gold leaf to your life. They're sweet, tangy, and deliciously addictive. Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or someone who just appreciates great fruit, these cherries are worth every penny. Five stars—because why settle for ordinary when you can have magic in a jar?

Bought a jar of this to garnish our cocktails. They're genuine and how you'd find cherries in bespoke cocktail bars.
