I bought these socks for my daughter to wear to secondary school, as long black socks are required as part of the school uniform. These were a perfect choice as they are just the right thickness, for both winter and summer months. I have bought these before and they have lasted two years before I needed to buy more, as my daughter has lost a few in her PE bag. Although the ones we still have are still being worn and we are now onto year three. They’re easy to wash and keep their shape. My daughter says they are very comfortable and she likes these ones best. I think they’re excellent value for money and highly recommend.

These were much better quality than expected, a colour that will go with most others, a nice comfortable fit and neither too thin nor too thick. They are the length they are supposed to be, too, which is not always the case, and would look as good as opaque tights, with a skirt. I also appreciate the fact that they haven't been fastened together with plastic tags that leave holes in the fabric.

I think these would be fine for an average hight woman however I bought these for my 15yo sister (who is almost 6ft tall) for her school uniform and they don't come up to her knee they are about 3/4ths of her Lower leg. But she also has quite slim legs so I feel they may also be too small for someone with a thicker calf.

I'm a slim 5ft 6" UK size 6 feet, & these are a snug fit. No need to pull them up through the day, but not too tight either. Perfect for people with diabetes who like knee high socks, probably OK up to 5ft 8". Clearly, if your feet are much larger or you're a lot taller, they might not fit as well. Otherwise, excellent value.

THE SOCKS ARE TOO TIGHT AROUND THE TOP. NOT ABLE TO WEAR THEM. WHICH IS A SHAME AS THE QUALITY IS VERY GOOD. THANKS

I bought these socks as I have broken my leg and was advised by the hospital to wear knee high cotton socks inside my orthopedic boot. These socks are a perfect fit for me. I have size 7 feet, am 5 foot 8 inches tall and wear a size 10-12 in clothes. The socks reach right up to my knee and the heel fits exactly where is should. They are a brilliant white and are thick enough to protect me in the boot, but not so thick that they would look unattractive if worn as intended. They would also make perfect socks to wear inside wellington boots for a person of my dimensions, as they reach higher than the top of a welly and would protect from chafing.

Great long quality socks that are comfortable. They keep my feet warm in this cold weather and are good value for money too.

I have trouble finding knee high socks for my thicker than average legs. Special extra large versions are so expensive and also I don't need them that large. I took a chance on these as one reviewer said that she had same problem but found these okay. They were a snug fit but not too tight. But by the end of the day they were uncomfortable and had to take them off. I decided to undo the fold over hem to see if that made them better, and so it did! Lovely and comfy all day long. So, a tip there.....undo the fold over top carefully to give a little more expansion.
