Diamond Plate Genuine Leather Motorcycle Vest w/14 Patches

Good quality material, the patches I didn't like were very easy to remove without damaging the leather, and the fit was great for me - I'm only five feet tall so the fact that it's a little short was actually a good thing for me. Some of the patches, like the big one on the back, are really good looking. Even the ones I removed (mostly the ones with "funny" sayings) look like good quality patches. I don't ride, so I can't say how well it would hold up to that kind of use, but the four pockets are great; two zip and two are open. For the price, this best can't be beat if you're looking for an attractive leather rising best to sew patches onto like I was.

Make sure you order one size larger than your regular jacket size, these run a little small. I wear a size large, and ordered this in a size extra large, so it fit just right. I looked up some of the patches on the vest to see if I could buy additional ones, and found the entire set of patches for this jacket for 45 bucks. SO, buying the vest with the patches for less than that price, I have to say is a real bargain!! WOW. And, it looks like a much better quality than the price would suggest. Shipping was fast, and I'm very pleased. Bought my wife the matching ladies leather jacket. Now we both look like "bad bikers"...... ha ha ha.

Kind of stumbled upon this vest and glad I did! Came in very quickly, packaged nice and neat. This will be a Christmas gift for my special guy, and I can't wait to give it to him. The patches are awesome, those alone are worth the price. Love that leather smell, and it looks like it is pretty well made, lining is very nice also. The weight of the leather was fine, as I was a little concerned when reading some of the other reviews. I have paid a lot more for a lot less quality in the past. Anxious to see his reaction......Ms. Claus did good this year! :) I would definitely recommend this vest.

Diamond Plate? Rock Design Genuine Buffalo Leather Vest W/ 14 Patches - XL I bought the XL Because I thought LARGE would be to small ! Well The XL - Is JUST About to small ! But OK For Me! I am 5'10" 190-200 and Defiantly glad I got the XL! If I had it to do again. I think the next size up would have been a good idea. The patches all seem ok ..And Not horribly done. And really if you think about it .. Each patch is worth 3-6$ and the BIG one on the back 12-25$ SOOOO .. the patches are worth the cost of the Darn thing ! You Get the vest for free !!!! Not BAD ! 1. It does smell a little bad / Has Strong Odor ! Bummer :) 2. The Buttons are kinda cheap and do not hold that great. 3. The Girth/Stomach is a tad small ( I am Not that over weight! LOL ) Good thing it has string on the side. 4. It does look like they used 1000 different pieces of leather to make this Frankenstein like coat !!! 5. The leather is NOT thick ! kinda cheap ! and kinda smells! 6. With the Frankenstein like patch work and the millions of miles of thread used I am not sure how it will hold up! 7. Patch above heart says: BIKER <- Very Dumb But does come off with little effort and really no damage. If your going to buy this get the next size up or maybe two sizes ! FOR SURE !

Purchasing a leather motorcycle style vest was one of those "flash" ideas, thinking it would be a lot of fun to wear considering my interesting circumstances. Wearing a leather motorcycle vest with a huge American flag and Bald Eagle on the back with the words, "Live to Ride" was perfect in my situation along with having several humorous patches. I read the reviews available, decided I would replace several of the patches with ones more appropriate to me and my situation. I have a "different" sense of humor anyway so this would be a great and fun way to get some laughs from others and enjoy the process. I received the vest within 2 days, the colors of the sewn on embroidered patches were all very vivid and the leather was patch, yet sturdy and good quality above the price paid. I particularly like the rustic Buffalo head buttons, the number and type of pockets and the leather lace-ups on the sides. I then "attempted" to try it on. The product shows a size of 2X Big, which should have fit. The 2X Big is NOT to US standards by any means and was more like a 'small large,' if that. No amount of adjustment was going to make a difference so I returned it immediately. I researched further learning of the major size differences, Amazon.com had none at my size, so I found the exact same product from another source and purchased it. I literally had to order 2 sizes larger than I would a US made product and I am hoping it will fit properly once received. The bottom line here is to be very aware of international size differences between where the product is manufactured and when being sold in the US. When buy this leather motorcycle vest, order 2 sizes larger than your normal size and you should be fine. I understand the patches not liked are easily removed by carefully using a razor blade and attaching new or different patches by using a fabric and leather adhesive, versus sewing them yourself or paying the cost of the vest to have them sewn on at an alterations shop. The adhesives are a wonderful, easy and permanent alternative. Amazon.com carries several top quality products. Knowing how to order the size appropriate for US standards, I would recommend this product because of the quality and "fun factor" received for the dollar invested. Oh yes, the interesting twist to my personal situation? Having a leather motorcycle vest with a huge American flag and Bald Eagle on the back with the words, "Live to Ride?" I am totally disable and "ride" an electric motorized 3-wheeled scooter.

I ordered this item a size larger then I normally wear and it fits snug. It is cut short to ride at or above belt which is good on the bike! The quality is amazing considering the price. The patches are all sew tight and it is a real sharp vest. I would highly recommend! The shipping was lightening fast as well! Great item!!! I showed a few buddies and they are jealous. I predict some orders coming from them in the near future!

After reading many of the reviews I decided to take a chance on this vest and bought it. The price was exceptional but you get what you pay for and this vest was a complete waste of money. I've had this vest about a month and when I first opened the box is when I too noticed the awful smell. It smells like mold and mildew. I tried wearing it, hoping the smell would go away but it didn't. I left it hanging in my garage hoping the smell of gas and oil would permeate it and cover the smell. It didn't. I threw it in the dryer with several sheets of dryer sheets, that didn't work. I then put it in the wash with some shop towels, but the colors ran, turning my shop towels black, but then I put it in the dryer again, then when it was half dry I hung it up. Now my entire garage smells like mildew. I ended up throwing it away cuz I'm embarrassed to wear it in public because of the smell. I can't give it negative stars so it gets one star....Don't waste your money....

Very well designed. Love the patches very Good work on them. Good quality material Have gotten may compliments on vest. I really love wearing it .
